Northern Alps Pet-friendly Vacations

We was staying just after Christmas over the New Year’s weekend. We had an amazing experience within this beautiful place and Chamonix overall. Clean, tidy well organised. Staff was always there when you needed, making everyone happy and comfortable. A place where we definitely will come back in the future. Krzysztof

Impeccably clean rooms, friendly and attentive staff, comfortable bed, spacious room, great drinks at the bar, relaxing spa, two great dining options, steps from two bus stops, and right in front of the gondola to Aiguille du Midi. We would return in a heartbeat.

The suite was clean but a bit worn in spots. Chipped finishes, scuffs. The lobby feels more like a mall entrance and post check-in there was little attention from the front desk staff. Breakfast and common areas are a bit of a madhouse. Lots of families and tourists from all over the world. Good location but I wouldn’t call it comfortable or give it 4 stars-

Had an amazing stay at the altapura, read a few reviews a few days before we went and were worried, but it was great. Main complaints were about how hot the rooms were, which were understandable, but opening the window solved that. The other critique we read was about the restaurants and choice of food for half board. Breakfast was buffet and had a great selection. Dinner you get 65 euros contribution each evening towards food, which you can choose from the menu of the 3 different restaurants they have. European, Japanese and a cheese place. The food is all cooked fresh and to a great standard. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the hotel is in my opnion in the perfect location, ski in skin out, not far from several ski lifts, but not in thr centre of town so you don't get all the noise and footfall. Beds were really comfy, overall had a great experience and will be back next year!

We had some issues with hot water some nights but it was a good stay
