North Shore Pet-friendly Vacations

We stayed overnight to go to a wedding in the area. We booked two rooms. We were given no options for a late checkout as well as no options for an early check in. The staff were civil but not exactly welcoming. When checking out, I told them there was a dog barking in the room next door to ours. I informed them that I was awakened by the barking dog at 8 am. The response was that I should “have reported it” and that it’s a “pet friendly” hotel. That’s nice but perhaps it could be a “people friendly” hotel too and not have people with barking pets next to people who would like to sleep past 8am on a Sunday morning.

Black paint on our bed, trash piled in the hallways. However; the best part was upon check in being told I was aware of renovations which I WAS NOT. We booked for the pool which was closed. Very disappointed. Would not recommend or stay there again.

I hate writing negative reviews but I was so disappointed. Our room had ants, spiders and a left over blueberry smooshed into the carpet from the previous guests. The room smelled like chlorine and the toilet continuously ran unless you jiggled the handle. The WiFi went in and out depending on the time of day. Overall my family was incredibly disappointed.
