Staff and breakfast were top notch. Our hotel room was conveniently located close to the clubhouse, breakfast area, bar, courtyard with a variety of child friendly games, and pool. My only complaint was that we specifically booked this hotel because it had a pickleball facility and we discovered upon arrival that it was closed for maintenance.

Want to start off with check-in when we were presented a $250.00 deposit for any damages. When we were presented with the list of amenities we were stunned that you were to be charged an almost $60 DAILY parking fee and the refillable water bottles in the room were a $9 charge each. We were given room 133 which was in the level below the lobby and was an inland room instead of the promised seaside view room. The door was sticky for lack of a better word, it was rather difficult opening and closing it. The light switch on the wall didn't have an overhead light that went with it? Very useless feature. There was no microwave in our room to re-heat leftovers and the mini fridge could barely hold any food. The mini fridge also was NOT plugged in when we arrived, and it took calling maintenance twice (and for them to not even show up at all even though staff promised us they contacted them) for us to have to pull it out of the coffee cart and plug it in ourselves. The sink had very dim lighting as well in the mirror and the water closet had very dim lighting which made it a little difficult to see what you were doing. Moving on to the exterior features, the seating areas for evening campfires were covered in bird poop which isn't really what you'd want to eat your smores over, and the drink menus consist almost exclusively of wine and other alcohol. You are also offered a wine voucher at the door and for any complaints you might have. It seems the wine is the focal point.

The property alone spoke for itself! The only bummer was not staying long enough! The room was quite pleasant and spacious for my partner and I. I would definitely go back to this hotel.
