Lovely hotel, all staff were really nice and helpful. The outdoor pool is a good size and well maintained . Room was a decent size too. The only small frustration was the hand soap was shower gel and there’s no milk in the room, but you can get a small jar od milk from the bar. Location is a flat short walk (approx 15-20mins) to bars and restaurants in the village. There’s a good selection on offer for breakfast (we only had B&B) and the staff did excellent job of keeping it all replenished. The hotel offers a free boat transfer service to the beach, which leaves from a location about 5 walk from the hotel. You do get your feet wet getting on and off the boat and sometimes it’s up to knee height, so best to wear shoes that can get wet or be removed easily. Various free activities on offer for health and wellbeing. Special mention to the Activities Team who were all fantastic, enthusiastic and made the holiday more enjoyable. Took part in the water zumba a couple of times, but watching it was just as fun. Would also recommend the paddle surf and no experience is needed! Evening entertainment was varied and music went off at 23:00hrs so didn’t disturb us and we were right on top of it. The main town of Tavira is about 6km away. There is a bus or train but these options are a good 30min walk, so a taxi is easiest option, but it’s well worth the visit.
