One of the best hotels in Derry as it is top notch hospitality in a perfect location for walking the walls and exploring the city. We enjoyed all the good treatment and the pub recommendations on Waterloo St.

Marvelous hotel, a lot of amenities, great grounds, beautiful renovation, and brilliant staff. Everything would have been perfect at this hotel if not for these things: - lack of AC in rooms other than their most expensive suites. As the climate continues to rise, this is going to be a problem because during our stay it was only 24C, which isn't bad, but without any breeze the room felt very stuffy and not enjoyable - the food was poor at the restaurants, do yourselves a favor and get food, especially Quay West in Donegal because the hotel is going to disappoint you.

An unbelievably pleasant stay. Derg Arms was a half way stop for me as I was traveling between Sligo and the north coast of Ireland. For a really good nightly rate i got a well maintained, clean room and a fantastic free breakfast in the morning The entire staff and owner were beyond accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling.

I took my mum away for her birthday. We didn’t use the spa as it was full. I booked the A La Carte restaurant a week in advance but when we arrived they didn’t have the booking. Even though I’d had confirmation. The menu was disappointing with only one vegetarian choice. The food was very poor. It was tepid and both dishes looked and tasted like they had been sat under heat lamps. My mum had fish. We only ate it as we had been out all day and hungry. The restaurant experience was not as it should have been and I wished I’d just tried the other one. Breakfast was much better. But overall I was disappointed as we had specifically gone for my mum’s birthday

Really lovely stay here, property had everything you could need! Had a minor room issue at the beginning but the owner/manager was so helpful and it was sorted immediately! Pleasure to deal with! Would definitely stay again and recommend!
