A beautiful hotel a short drive outside the medina. Choose it for lush grounds, a friendly team and a great pool.
We had a few problems with our room which were raised with the staff and resolved to a degree. Be wary of the superior bungalow with courtyard view… it’s actually in the car park and does not reflect the high standards and ambience the hotel generally sets.

This is a nice hotel but definitely not a 5 start as claimed by Expedia. Reasons for this:
1. Mini bar and coffee offered in the room - 2 coffee pods, not restocked. Nothing but a bottle of water in the mini fridge. Barely any choice of tea. And 2 mini milk pods.
2. All inclusive does not include access to the spa facilities (understand treatments are extra but seriously?!).
3. No extra pillows or blankets in the room which is standard.
4. The fixtures in the bathroom are coming away from the wall. No one is checking the ongoing maintenance.
5. No handsoap, just mini bars of soap which are very wasteful.
6. Paid for a pool side room. It's a shallow puddle outside the room doors. No cushions in sight, you have to sit on hard concrete.
7. The outdoor bars close at 6. The food is incredibly limited. Simple snacks like fries aren't on the menu. You have to be friends with the barmen to get fries.
8. Service - mentioned it's a birthday trip. Absolutely nothing. Not even a complimentary drink or snack.
Definitely a 3 at the most. A riad would be better value and you would not be out of the city where everything is walkable. This is located a 25 minute drive from the Medina where all the great bars and restaurants are.
All of the above is related to the hotel itself and not the service we received. The staff were fantastic. Special mention to Yousef at the concierge desk who was fantastic.

Tigmiza is a truly special property and not only because of its beauty and amenities but for the incredible staff that make it a haven! We wish we could name EVERYONE who made this stay exceptional. However, we can give special mention to Guest Relations extraordinaire Oussama (this man is a gift to the establishment!) Nothing was too small or big for him to take care of on our behalf. And ALWAYS with a sincere smile. We see the next GM in the making!!! Spa Manager Soukaina and the masseuses we worked with directly were lovely and exceedingly competent in giving us several wonderful spa experiences. Mom is still talking about her Hamman! Finally to all the front desk staff, servers and bell staff, like Hamza, Redouane, Abderrafie and others we say THANK YOU! THANK YOU for helping provide such an amazing holiday!!! We look forward to seeing and reconnecting with you ALL again sooner than later :)

Amazing service, staff was extremely attentive and the breakfast every morning was excellent. The bird sanctuary was a nice place to walk around and you can hear the birds singing in the morning. 10/10 would stay again.
