This hotel is good but could be great, firstly the good points, the staff are friendly and the breakfast and restaurant food was excellent. Now the not so good, the safe in the room was unusable as it had been left with the door open and locked,

This was by far the most personalized stay we’ve ever had at a hotel. We were personally shown to the room and all amenities were explained. The amazing staff thought of every detail. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salzburg!

We stopped in Salzburg for one night on our trip to Vienna and wished we had stayed for two! The hotel was located walking distance from centre, Mozart residence and Mirabellplatz and gardens as well as the bridge across Salzach River to explore Old Town Town and Fortress. Our room was very spacious with amazing water pressure in the shower, ac, and a very comfortable king size bed. View was nice. Small treats on pillows and cool water bottle and fridge were appreciated. Staff at reception was very welcoming, friendly and super quick! We enjoyed our stay and would return to this hotel if we are back in Salzburg ️again :)

I have stayed here for the last four years. Each year it has slowly become more expensive with less amazing. This year was the worst and I think it is time to find a new hotel to stay in. The rooms they have put me in become smaller and less useful. This year my room didn’t have a separate shower. I am 67 years old and it was very difficult to step over the tub to wash off. Never mind trying not to fall down once inside the tub. My room created a leak in the entrance way. They said that they had no staff to fix the problem because it was 6pm. There solution was to put a towel on the floor which was later replaced with a plastic bucket. I got zero sleep because of the dripping into the plastic bucket was unbearable. It felt like torture. I don’t understand why they didn’t put me into another room. To add insult to injury. The next morning the fire alarm went off while I was washing myself off in the tub. I found out later that the alarm initiated in my room. The fire detector was on the ceiling right next to the water leak. I don’t know if the water leaking had anything to do with the activation of the fire alarm. I didn’t do anything differently than the previous days that I washed myself off. But they said that the alarm went off because of the steam from the hot water. Again this is supposed to be a luxury hotel. This year I paid for two rooms and I am coming back to Salzburg in December. I am extremely disappointed with my stay and asked to speak with the manager unavailab

Amazing view and location. Absolutely loved our stay. Breakfast was wonderful, staff was friendly, stay was peaceful. Highly recommend and would love to return one day.

Great hotel. Breakfast was delicious. Little tricky finding it if you’re driving. Apple Maps is not your friend. If you’re American it will make you mad trying to find it. Being Canadian I was half mad. And then apologized. But when you do find it, the location can’t be beat. Staff was amazing. They speak English. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
