Lift was out of service so had to walk up 7 floors via the fire stairs and room was unacceptably smelly

This property was lovely and directly across from the beach. The staff were excellent, meals were fantastic and it was centrally located and walkable to shopping and enjoying the seaside board walk.

My fault for trusting the hotel chain without viewing photos. This was far below my expectations, near enough to me booking elsewhere.

Not many choices in Sydney under $500 a night, having to stay in Mascot was the only option, pretty good, no pool, but winter, really only choice.

Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I arrived at the hotel at around 7:00 PM, only to be told that my room was still not ready and needed to be cleaned. I was advised that it would likely not be available until around 9:00 PM. The staff apologised and offered me a meal while I waited, which I appreciated, but having to wait until 9 PM for a hotel room is simply not acceptable. Once I finally got into the room, everything initially seemed fine. However, the complimentary wine that was advertised as part of the stay was nowhere to be found, and no one mentioned or provided it. More concerningly, I found hairs in the bathtub, which made me question how thoroughly the room had actually been cleaned, especially considering the two-hour delay was supposedly because the room was being prepared. Overall, the experience fell well below what I would expect from a hotel of this standard. Very disappointing.

Hotel was fantastic but the staff were even better. Amazing customer service and communication.
