Whitsundays Ski Vacations

We stayed one night, on our way through from Yeppoon to Cairns. The room was dated but acceptable, but the shower was horrible! The grout was very mouldy (although the rest of the shower looked clean) and we didn't want to have a shower at all!

Amazing place to stay! Loved the staff they helped us with everything we needed and provided helpful recommendations, loved the views, the location, the amenities in our apartment, it was like a little paradise!

Lovely VERY large modern apartment with great views of the bay. Only downside was a fishy smell about the apartment which we were provided with air freshener to periodically spray the air-conditioning unit to try and get rid of it. Toilet basin didnt look too clean with etching on it. Laundry facilities were very useful to refresh clothes half way through our holiday. Breakfast was just ok, but they did provide a lovely take out box of pastries and fruit for our last day as we were checking out too early for breakfast. Overall a great stay

The cleaning staff need to be retrained in cleaning rooms and topping up supplies ie shampoo hand wash toilet paper. Our room bedding wasn’t changed in 7 days, just folded over. Thankful we had clean towels but no sweeping. No close bathrooms near the pool so you need to walk through the restaurant. There’s space near the swimming pool to install bathrooms/change room. Room for improvement definitely. Callum at front desk was fantastic to deal with, view of the water amazing close to everything but the complex is very tired.

Photos deceiving not even near to the bad condition of the place. tiles was broken and unsafe. Toilet had a huge crack inside. Furniture was peeling. Very run down. We got told to turn the music down at 5.45 pm while setting watching sunset with my wife only. It was not a party. Old grumpy owner in unit next to us. we didn't realise we were paying so much money to stay in a nursing home!
