They say it’s climate emergency. Breakfast buffet is absolutely horrible. No variety at all. Better off to eat off street. People pull long faces. Nobody smiles at this hotel. Staff is so aloof that they get angry that somebody has come to their hotel. Rooms are so small that they don’t even have a chair and a desk to sit. "This isn't a real hotel. It was more like a cabin with a bar next door and the bartenders are used as hotel employees.. even though I don't believe they are truly affiliated with the hotel. The hotel had no amenities. Not even a vending machine. Thirsty? Bar. Hungry? Bar. The TOWN has almost no amenities. Everything is closed by 6:30. I almost got on a train and left. Road construction of course isn't regulated like the stores. Meaning the stores are legally required to close but road...

"The highlight of our visit was Verena herself who made us feel so comfortable. She was a most gracious host who personally welcomed us at the door. Her guesthouse is beautiful, meticulously cared for, and very comfortable. Her breakfasts were delicious. especially her personally-prepared bacon and eggs as well as local products. Her Swiss dinners were exquisite."
