I was not familiar with Copenhagen at all when I had to choose a hotel for our visit. I wanted some comfort but didn't have an unlimited budget. CPH is an expensive city so be prepared. That said, Hotel Hans starts your day with a great breakfast buffet, It was included with our reservation. The decor is perfectly Danish, relaxing and comfortable. At 5pm it's time for wine in the lobby. A nice place to hang out and you'll also have a nightcap at 10pm. The room is comfortable although the lighting is a bit dim in the evening. The room is spacious enough for two to move around and the bed was a dreamy end to the day. On top of that the staff are the best. Always helpful and friendly. There is a bus stop to the center of town nearby, but you can also walk. The location is located near to many areas although there isn't much in the immediate area. The best bagels in town are a short walk away. I would stay here again now that I know the city and how to get around.

After paying substantially for a penthouse with a nice balcony, we didn't get the room that was shown in the picture as other guests were in that room. So there is quite a difference in the room you can get while paying the same price. I would be weary of that. The hotel itself is nice and well situated, but the service is not great. The cleaning staff did the absolute bare minimum, it barely felt as if anyone had entered our room before and after the cleaning service. For the total spent, I expected a better room and better service.

Great hotel for a one night stopover prior to a cruise

My family stayed in a large, spacious king suite. It was great to have the space. They brought a cot for our kid. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The woman running breakfast is phenomenal. Our room dishes would only get rinsed it seemed, so food was still on them, which was unfortunate, but minor. The gym being called “field house” was confusing to find. And very small. We would stay here again.

The staff were extremely helpful! The property needs to make it known that guests with disabilities need to use the side entrance instead of the front entrance. The front entrance has approximately 10 steep steps, and with luggage it is very difficult. We needed help. The staff went out of their way to ensure a great stay. The property is very convenient to everything. There are many difference restaurants within easy walking distance, two to three blocks. There is also a huge farmer's market with all type of eateries, and the ability to purchase fresh fruit.

The staff brought us an extra chair to the room, so we could both sit without lounging on the bed. The service for morning coffee and breakfast was fast and delicious.
