Enjoyed the stay

Very nice hotel. Restaurants, attractions and shopping are within walking distance. This is a historic landmark that is well maintained. My only complaint is that everything was extremely expensive. Be prepared to be price gouged.

It is a beautiful hotel and loved seeing the ocean and being able to walk around the village. All we needed was there. Exceptionally clean and comfortable - bed, chairs, desk. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Nice pool area. Loved the Starbucks cafe.

Great hotel right across from the beach! Very friendly, professional & helpful staff. The room was exceptionally clean & recently renovated. Very good full breakfast. Pet friendly with large areas of grass for pets.

Had a fantastic time at this resort. The balcony suite overlooking the water was extravagant, and the room was clean and tidy the restaurant inside the resort had decent food that was very convenient. Pool area was kept nice and enjoyable. Breakfast had a wide selection and was good. my favorite thing that we utilized was the free bike rental that we used to traverse the island. Would recommend, and will rebook in the future.

This Hotel was really awesome. Easy access to the beach. Great pool area. We had a very relaxing experience.

Every employee I had the pleasure of speaking with seemed so obligingly and personable. We felt perfectly safe and the units are quiet.

When we checked in, the agent was very friendly and helpful. Check out was also just as easy. We were extremely pleased with this resort. Walk to the ocean, nice area for walking our pet. Seeing the full moon on the ocean out of our room was fantastic.

Beautiful room with luxury touches and perfect walkable location to great restaurants and shopping. Room turnover service every day, which is rare since Covid. No elevator, so keep that in mind if you get a 2nd floor room. The continental breakfast reminded me of what you get in Europe--fresh fruit and pastries. In room Nespresso coffee maker sure beats the Keurig-types. I would definitely stay here again.

I would describe this as a cross between a condo rental & a hotel room. Room was exceptionally pretty, thoroughly cleaned every day, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. However, when we got there to check in at about 8:00pm, I found out that there is no front desk or concierge. Had to call someone offsite to get into the lockbox to get our key card, which I had not anticipated. Our stay was great! Nice quiet location and convenient to everything. The Darien Waterfront Inn is beautiful and JoAnne & David were so nice & accommodating. We will return again...hopefully soon!

All was great, the private jets parking near the pool was a novelty, but not good for trying to have a conversation! It did drown out the kids screaming @ the pool though. the plane noise wasn't heard from inside he hotel or rooms.

While only a short overnight stay, we had one for the books. Driving to our next stop we were about 1 1/2 away when we realized we left cash in the open safe in our room. It was up high and hard to check. I called the hotel to secure it and the manager told me he had it and we have it put into safe keeping to we returned. When we got back they called security to deliver the funds to us. Not a penny was missing and when I offered a reward they refused it saying it would not feel...

Great visit and the Hampton Inn was a distinct pleasure. Close to everything; excellent friendly staff. This is my fourth visit to the island and I won't stay anywhere else.

Everything was very clean, however there is a lot of noise from the highway and our room didn’t even face the road. Breakfast was just ok typical fare provided by all hotels
