Weekend getaways in Oaxaca

Nos hospedamos en Casa Laurel y la experiencia fue excelente. La habitación esta muy limpia, la cama impecable y comodísima. Cuenta con todos los servicios que necesitábamos: excelente conexión a internet, Tv, una mesita ideal para trabajar en la Laptop, el baño es amplio y muy limpio. La ubicación es muy tranquila. En general es un lugar cómodo y seguro, y el trato de la persona que nos recibió fue muy cordial en todo momento. Lo recomendamos ampliamente.

Very quiet, clean, and staff were great. It has a great view to the ocean ….. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Puerto Angel, Oaxaca. Love it!!!!!

This is a wonderful respite within the City. Great location and fantastic customer service. The property is charming and very well located. The rooms are large and clean and have thoughtful details (eg sound machine for getting to sleep). Lots of great art throughout. Wonderful and thoughtful local arrival and departure gifts.

Fabulous hotel and fabulous staff. The location is ideal for all things walking. We absolutely loved this hotel and will stay again.

This is a beautiful property a few miles from town. We rented a car for our 6-day stay which proved to be very convenient. Our 2-bedroom apartment was lovely, comfortable, clean, quiet and had a sweeping view of the beach, the service was excellent, everyone went out of their way to greet us. The food at the pool bar and restaurant was good. I only have 2 complaints. The first is that the pool is relatively small and was constantly filled with small children and plastic pool toys, we would have...

Overall, the staff was great and very friendly. On our last night, our flight was at night and they securely stored our luggage while we walked around for the day until it was time to head to the airport. There was an error in the type of vehicle to the airport because I had asked the night before to reserve a van that would fit a family of 6, but they were able to obtain 2 taxis fairly quickly for the same price we would’ve paid for the van. It is a hotel located in downtown Oaxaca. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful. I like the idea of having a kitchenette with the free fruit, coffee/tea, and pastries. They also provide you with free bottles of water. Everything was sparkling clean.

The entire experience and staff were amazing. Gerardo and Julio were a part of making it amazing. The food was perfect, the rooftop pool, the room and the location was on point. We will be returning. Shout out to the transportation company too!! Thanks for an amazing first visit!

A very clean well kept hotel. The entire staff was very kind and helpful. The only problem I recommend to be done to our room is to fix the drainage in the shower drain system. The water stays in the area and it doesn’t drain properly. Other than we highly recommended the hotel.

Stunning hotel with beautiful pools and incredible views! Great breakfast and excellent (though limited) dinner options. Huge rooms - balcony has sweeping bay views, jacuzzi tub, day bed, and hammock - spent so much time out here. Some renovation going on but no noise and didn't detract from our stay at all. Perfect hotel for 2-3 night stay. Walking distance to beaches of Puerto Angel, and easy taxi ride to Zipolite, etc. from main road.

Brand new. it was a five star hotel for the price of a 3 star. everything worked. deck that overlooks the beach. the location was stellar. days the surf was too high there was a pool. attached to the hotel is a bar/restaurant with above average food. whats not to like about sitting on the beach and eating super tasty food? easy to just stay there or walk a short distance into town. for those who love the beach and the waves this is an excellent choice

It was beautiful. Beyond our expectations. Great ambiance. Staff was on top of everything, super friendly and helpful. They truly made tis experience the best! While at the coffee bar, my 7 year old daughter wanted a milk chocolate drink that was not on the menu and the two young guys at the bar offered to make it. They truly make it special! Definitely recommend.

We stayed at parador San Miguel for 3 days,hotel has 3 levels with terraces for relaxing,our suite was fabulous with air conditioning,Jacuzzi,the most comfortable king bed and antiques everywhere,plants,trees and flowers are everywhere,making the hotel look like a tropical paradise,staff was extra friendly,food in restaurant was beyond delicious and we we sad to leave.Manuel and America,the proprietors,speak perfect english,Manuel having been educated in San Francisco.FABULOSO!!!

Very nice and clean hotel to stay in, and it’s close to the airport and anything else you may need. It also has a gym! I highly recommend this hotel.
