Weekend getaways in New Bern

Perfect location. Beautiful, charming, spacious room with a comfortable bed. Exceptional breakfast. Loved the poached pear starter! Brandi worked hard to anticipate and meet our needs. She even reminded us to move our car before getting ticketed. Would definitely stay again.

Really cool bed and breakfast- in the historic district of New Bern- the facility was furnished in a Victorian manner but facility was very up to date- rooms were clean and spacious for a B and B- our bathroom was very modern and spacious-

We checked in very late and they gave us the bed and breakfast that is across the street from their main house. They let us have use of the entire house. They were so very accommodating...we were in awe. I would highly recommend The Aerie Bed and Breakfast to anyone. I have stayed at several 5 star facilities and it deserved 5 stars all around.

We celebrated our 13th anniversary in New Bern, NC and stayed in the Josephine room at Meadows Inn. The trip was wonderful and the Meadows Inn, a dream. We arrived midday on Saturday and were graciously allowed to check in upon arrival. Betty provided a map and some general inforation about New Bern, then showed us our room, the Josephine, which was exactly as I imagined. Spacious and comfortable, with simple timeless decor. Property has been redone and it's beautiful 😍

The hotel is within walking distance of historic areas, shops, and restaurants. There is a nice park right next to the hotel. We wish we had discovered the river walk to town sooner--it is an attraction in itself. The only improvement needed is a more varied menu for the hotel bistro--especially for vegetarians. Overall, a wonderful place to stay--we would definitely return!

We arrived very late, 12:30 AM, and were greeted by Felicia, the warmest, genuine, empathetic welcome. I was so impressed that after I parked, I brought my mom to the front desk just to meet Felicia. We were in town for a funeral and had traveled the whole way in heavy rain. For breakfast we were blessed with Delarena. She was so kind and simply genuine. Stayed with my husband on a last minute getaway; loved the suite, loved the view, loved the tub! Will definitely be staying here again!

Incredibly cool place. You can tell it’s freshly renovated and they did a wonderful job honoring its Victorian roots. The hosts were very welcoming and communicative. Looks just like the photos. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very nice, well appointed house. Bed was a little soft, but overall property was excellent. We saw a couple bugs but the owners addressed this quickly.

Hosts were very gracious with our obnoxiously late arrival time. 😂

The room was very clean. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate any needs and make our stay a pleasant experience. A beautiful table was set for breakfast and it did not disappoint. It was delicious! I highly recommend staying in this property.
