Weekend getaways in Norway

This was one of the loveliest hotel stays I've ever had! The staff were wonderful from the time I arrived until the time I departed. The room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was delightful with the rain shower. I particularly loved the blackout curtains that were set up to overlap each other and therefore let absolutely zero light in. I slept really well, especially since there was minimal noise. I missed the complimentary breakfast the first two mornings...

This hotel. Words cannot even begin to describe how incredible it is. Our favorite part of Bergen was being able to stay here. Each room is unique, making you feel as if you are at a B&B. We were incredibly lucky to be upgraded to a suite, which made our trip. I would come back to Bergen just to stay here. Breakfast was also a fantastic experience. 5/5!

The staff were very helpful. We wanted to get a late checkout and they jumped through hoops to accommodate this request. Breakfast buffet was amazing.

Extremely well located, spot clean good beds and pillows; and very cool.

We stayed here for one night, and wanted a place close to the train station so we could walk to and fro. The restaurant and breakfast dining rooms were lovely, with a good selection of food. Our room was comfortable, with the common half-duvets on a comfy mattress. Our only comment was that the light switch system took us a while to figure out, and I am not entirely sure we were operating it correctly. What a great property directly in front of the Christmas markets! Andres and the staff were super helpful and the breakfast is impeccable!! Would highly recommend to stay here. I would not recommend having a car as Oslo is a walkable city and not designed for cars. Train from the airport is the cheapest and most convenient recommendation. Only a 10-min walk to the hotel.

Location and breakfast cannot be beat. We would stay here again in an instant.

Great hotel. Very clean. Great food and many excellent breakfast options to chose from. Free parking. Has a swimming pool but I did not use. Staff friendly and helpful. No elevator.

Location, location, location! Express from airport ( 15 minutes) arrives across the hotel . The beautiful opera , the Munch house both “ around the corner “ . Long pier with lots of restaurants short distance walk ! Special Thank You to Elena who helped me with my Opera tickets 🙏

Brosundet was such a calming and casual chic hotel. After a long day of walking and exploring, it was so perfect to park up with a book (and free coffee/tea) next to their cozy fireplace. I also loved the brand of bath/shower products they provided - I ended up buying a candle to bring home! Also - the free breakfast is fantastic and the location is spot on!

We had a great stay overall. The check-in was the easiest and quickest we have experienced in quite some time. There was free coffee / tea available by the reception all day, a very nice touch in the cold. The sauna in the central building is spacious and convenient. We also had a private sauna in the beach house we stayed in - this was an amazing surprise (should be called out in the room's details!). I think this was one of my favorite hotels from the last few years. The location was right near the train station and the opera house. (although don’t follow the maps on an iPhone, it brought us down a back alley.) The rooms were nice and clean, and they even upgraded us and left flowers for me! The staff went above and beyond, without getting in our way.
