Weekend getaways in Gloucester

Quite possibly the best impromptu stop my husband and I have ever made! Everything was incredibly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was even more enjoyable with the beautiful view.We loved taking in the beautifully decorated rooms and especially enjoyed cozying up by all the fireplaces. The entire stay was so peaceful and relaxing—it was the perfect place to get away and unwind. We’re already planning our return!

Excellent place

Such a cute and charming place! While it doesn’t offer a lot in the way of amenities, it had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay!

This was a family trip with 2 kids under 6. The accommodations were top notch! Loved everything about it! We will definitely be back! We were impressed with the staff as well. Kudos!!!

The Williamsburg Inn is a delightful place to enjoy a get-away, while visiting Colonial Williamsburg, or other area attractions. Upon arriving, we were met by the attentive staff who saw to our every need. When entering the hotel, we saw many vases of beautiful yellow roses grouped together, which complemented the attractive décor. There are many sitting areas to visit with friends, or quietly read a book. At various times, a lady dressed in 18th century clothing was seated knitting, which...

The property was clean. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. This is a good hotel to stay the night. We were only there for a night, but it was comfortable and well taken care of.

We stayed with kids a very nice and clean and convenient place. Staff is great. Food is decent just like what you expect from a breakfast they can probably add some more options but it was enough. The only one thing they should change is getting different shampoos and body washes a bit of a better quality but everything else is great We’ll definitely stay again.

This beautiful home was build with love and we were made to feel like family. Every inch of the house has been put together with thought and is clean and very well maintained. Breakfast was prepared for us on our schedule and was delicious. I would go out of my way to stay here again!

Spacious, clean rooms with comfortable bed. Much needed rest

We had a great stay. The place we got was a two bedroom, 1 King bed and 1 Queen bed with a sofa bed in the living room. The bed was firm, which I am not use to, but it was very comfortable. The pillows were a little high; they were uncomfortable the first night. By the second night I figured out how to lay on them so I could sleep comfortably. The room was spacious and comfortable. Spent the weekend in Williamsburg and this place was an amazing jump off point. John the owner is very attentive and the overall atmosphere of the place was amazing. Will be recommending this place to anyone who is staying in Williamsburg regardless of the trip.
