Well kept property, convenient, friendly staff, quiet and peaceful

We had a late flight and arrived late, but were given excellent directions which made checking in seamless and easy. The location was close to the beach, very convenient, clean and quiet. We loved our stay here!

What a spectacular location, extremely private and beautiful. The accomodations are absolutely spotless and welcoming staff. But be sure you have four wheel drive or arrange for transportation.

There is no reason to consider any other hotel in Samara.

We had a fabulous stay at El Pequeno Gecko Verde, it is a true jungle oasis! Our kids, ages 5 & 7 loved the walk through the jungle to the secret beach and the pool was the perfect way to cool off in the afternoons. My son especially loved the banana milkshakes! The location was perfect for us, lovely and quiet, a 5 minute walk to Buenavista beach for sunset and about 10 mins walk down the street to a the bakery/soda . We enjoyed a fabulous stay! The suite was large and private, with a lovely and huge terrace to enjoy. The pools were delightful, and the location in town was easy access to all Samara has to offer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely come back.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Montelaguna and I absolutely hope to return. The property was very charming and well decorated with a relaxed atmosphere and all the conveniences we would want. The meals were so good that we rarely ate anywhere else -- well prepared and reasonably priced. The staff were ALWAYS pleasant and helpful. They made a great mojito. The pool was great to cool down on a hot day. The only hiccup we ran into was that it took about a day to figure out the quickest...

The staff was very friendly. The property was so pretty. The pool was very clean. The food was good. The rooms were very clean with comfy beds and pillows.

The pool was great, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The included breakfast was awesome. It's a little out of the way but it was nice and there's a farm next door. We heard howler monkeys at night which was cool and wild!

We love Sol Samara! Cannot wait to return with all our girlfriends. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Food was great and the small pool was perfect for a private morning dip. We love kitties and they had purrfect friends around the property.

This property is great and surrounded by beautiful. The staff was so sweet, professional, and helpful. The food was delicious. I would rate them an 8 out of 10. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would suggest is they invest in entertainment. There’s not much to do at the hotel besides eat, drink, swim, and relax. Samara is a small town that’s far from excursions and major cities so the hotel really need to do something to keep their guest entertained. Other than that this...

Private room was clean and big. Super fun social hostel vibe, big kitchen fully stocked, a terrace, gym, bar, and lots of lounging space. Close to everything Shower was cold and not any towels in room is only thing.

Good location only a 10 minute walk to beautiful Carrillo Beach, easy walk to restaurants and market. Big room, super clean, friendly and helpful staff, great pool, delicious breakfast and more! Definitely recommend!

We were greeted when we pulled up and helped with our luggage. Check in was easy. The staff extremely helpful and nice. We were given a tour of the property while our luggage was taken to our room. There were bikes to use as you wanted. A nice swimming pool. Surf boards for lessons. A surf school on property. The room was large and clean. The AC only in the bedroom. Coffee maker. Dishes/glassware. We had reusable water bottles waiting for us in our room. Pack this souvenir on your way...

El Colibri is an excellent choice for a week long stay in Playa Carrillo. Our kids loved the pool and were very comfortable roaming about the property and surrounding area. The walk down to the beach was very reasonable, as was access to the market and several small restaurants. Of course I need to mention El Colibri's outstanding Argentinian parrilla.
