Weekend getaways in Ito

The in room open air spa was excellent! The public spa feels not as hot tho. But the water quality is excellent

I have stayed in many luxury 5 star hotels, but this place get 10 stars, comfort and service beyond anything you can imagine. Big thank you to the owners for fantastic hospitality!

This was a lovely place to spend a short scuba diving vacation on the Izu Peninsula. The ocean views from my room were fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable.

It was AMAZING! My friend and I stayed for one night and it was the highlight of our entire trip in Japan. The food was incredible, the staff were extremely nice and helpful and attentive. And of course the onsens were immaculate. Everything was top tier, would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a classic Japanese experience but with modern comforts and breathtaking views!!

My only complaint is that I didn't stay there longer. The area and hotel are so calm and peaceful, and the beach views are unbelievable. Definitely recommend for those hoping to get off the beaten path. I'd recommend two nights so you get really get a chance to relax and take advantage of the baths, pool, and beach.

Can’t say enough good about the staff. This place was such a fun experience. We did three nights and maybe we should have done just two only because of the futons on the floor and we’re not as young as we use to be. Also, if I had one minor suggestion it would be for them to have a means to get coffee on site. I totally get it’s an experience and they have tea but for us coffee drinkers.. we gotta have it! Lol

My family of 3 stayed two nights at Hinodeya and it was a wonderful experience all around! This was our first visit to the Izu-Penninsula and we had such a great time. The owner and staff were so kind and accommodating, truly good spirits in this generational owned ryokan. The baths were very relaxing, the entire place was very clean and good spirits all around. Incredible stay with excellent service. The breakfast was amazing - so well made and you can feel the love of the chef putting together. Rooms were comfortable and so cute! Loved the onsen (hot spring) tub on the balcony and spacious room with great amenities. It was a whole experience type of stay, above and beyond our expectations in beautiful Izu Kogen surrounded in nature. Family ran in the best way possible. Highly recommend!

A fantastic getaway. A trip down to Izu peninsula is a common adventure for most in the Tokyo area, however the choice between towns isn’t always clear. This property takes away any concern. You can spend the entire trip in the luxury of the hotel or venture out to see the small city of Ito. A rich history of European visitors and access to the mountains within 5 minutes drive. The only comment about the stay was the pick-up service at Izu-kogen Station

The hotel is located in a peaceful area overlooking the ocean. The living room and bedrooms are very spacious, and kitchen is well equipped. Parking is very easy, would highly recommend for traveling with a car.
