Weekend getaways in Morganton

We had a great weekend. Everything we wanted to do was pretty close. The further we had to travel was just under a hour.

BIG room!!!!! Very comfortable bed. Great breakfast!

Dogwood Inn is truly a magical place. From the moment we arrived, Jim and Cindy made us feel genuinely welcome. Cindy’s breakfasts were absolutely outstanding—homemade, delicious, and one of the highlights of our stay. Jim was equally exceptional: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. You can tell they both genuinely enjoy taking care of their guests. The property is private, absolutely breathtaking, and feels like a dream—a true luxury retreat...

This is by far the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed in. Everything was clean, the walls had no marks on them and looked freshly painted. We were very impressed. The staff was very nice and helpful - we arrived late for our reservation, but too early to check in for the next day and they gave us a room anyway but didn't charge for the 1st day. I was prepared and expecting to pay for 2 nights, but the woman at the desk refused to charge us for 2 nights which I thought was above and...

My husband and I visited from Georgia for one night and I must say that I was relatively surprised. Love the hotel, the amenities, especially the pool table. Staff were pleasant and the decor of the hotel and rooms were stellar. Both fridge and microwave were in the rooms which was a huge plus for us. Will be visiting again.

Loved everything about this get away can’t wait to do it again

My only criticism is that the comforters are tucked into the foot of the bed so that they won't reach the pillows. Please leave the comforters untucked! I would like to have a microwave in all of the rooms.

Stay was very comfortable, clean, and pleasant. Plan to stay again when we return.

Very good. For a reasonable motel it was newly remodeled. Super nice man runs it. We would stay there again.

I have stayed here several times and i keep going back. It's a nice quiet place and it doesn't cost outrageously.

Best place to stay for concerts at the Hiwassee Fairgrounds.

Staff was great. Room very nice and this property is in a great location. Walking distance to several good restaurants and coffee shop.

This was our second stay at the cottage and we will be back. It is fully furnished so restaurant lunch leftovers can become dinner. Absolutely quiet and private.

The hospitality and attention to detail was excellent! We didn't want for a thing. Definitely going back....for a longer stay.
