Weekend getaways in Independence

It started with the check in, as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and friendliness. All the details of the hotel were shared with me. It was just like coming home after a long day. Fresh cookies on the table. Pam is a wonderful cook and hostess. When 8 of us returned from the Rolling Stones concert. there were cookies(2 kinds),brownies and popcorn waiting for us. rooms were wonderfully decorated. On our return list of places.

the room was clean (it was almost like I was the first person to occupy the room) and comfortable.I am a huge baseball fan and like to visit KC for games. This hotel has eliminated all others in the area from being considered for future lodging!

This was one of the best hotel stays that we have ever had. Every single employee we encountered was great. The hotel grounds were beautiful. The gym and indoor pool/ hot tub were probably the nicest we've ever seen at a hotel. All of the food we ate there was great. The linens on the bed were amazing. The only downside to staying there is that everything is very expensive. However, you get what you pay for!

We stayed over the weekend as a little getaway and it was the most amazing place we’ve ever stayed. We were pretty much in and out, but we loved the atmosphere, the ease of checking in and out, and the fact that it was very clean and nice. I did like the vibe overall.

Quiet hotel close to many things. Clean hotel, friendly service. I didn't have the complimentary breakfast but my husband said it was much better than other hotels we've been to. Would stay again.

Very clean. Spacious lobby with several areas for gathering and chatting. Good breakfast and a surprisingly good evening happy hour, with not only beer and wine but also mixed drinks and hot food. Staff was all very pleasant and welcoming. Big parking garage with hotel entrances on every level.
