Weekend getaways in Kent

Our son and his family live nearby and, after trying two other hotels in the area, we now always stay here when we visit from Alaska. Front desk staff know us, the rooms are clean and right sized. Location is convenient to a great espresso shop and the included breakfast is extensive.

This property is beautiful! The staff was helpful and friendly. We stayed here the night before an early flight but it didn’t feel like an airport hotel at all. The property is welcoming and quiet. We will definitely stay here again! 10/10

Nice property and staff. About 15 minutes from the airport. About 30 minutes to Seattle depending on traffic. About 10 minutes from other restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. Free parking a plus.

Nice little gem of a hotel. Clean, spacious room with large bathroom. Good speed Wi-Fi. Close to airport without airport noise. Very friendly service. Love the comforter cover and adjustable thermostat that worked better than almost any other hotel we've stayed at!

It was very clean and when there was a problem, the staff took care of the issue right away.

Solid, no frills motel about 20 minutes from Seattle. Would stay there again.

The only issue we had was that there were drag racers racing down the street all night on the first night we were there. However, this was greatly diminished the next night so it may have been a fluke thing. The room itself was very clean and beautiful. Bathroom is nice and big. It gets a little cramped if you use the bed and pull out the sleeper sofa. The kitchen was so nice to have with a dishwasher, dishes, and everything.

This home was perfect!! We were in town for our son's wedding, and it fit three couples perfectly. Beautiful kitchen and backyard added to our stay. Thank you so much!

Was just overnight and off to my cruise, got a shuttle for only $20 to pier 91. Hotel staff set me up with it. I would have never known and paid for Uber that would have been $80. Thank you

Best place to stay while in Seattle

Great stay, staff were awesome. Comfortable room. Easy walk to airport if you're traveling light, and to light rail station.

Easily the best hotel experience I have ever had. The cleanest most respectful staff in the land. I think this experience was so good because it’s Chinese owned. Just top to bottom flawless experience. Ps don’t miss the morning breakfast! It Was restaurant quality and also has so many options. Only thing I could complain about is no hot tub:( but does have a pool:)

We loved The Sound! It was one of the only hotels on our month long adventure through four contries that we thought, "hmm, we could stay at this hotel a little longer than we planned." Highly recommend it!

Great handicapped room!!

Appreciated the Underground pkg., although the spaces were a bit small to maneuver. Liked that there were convenient & walkable places eat in the area. The staff was very friendly.
