We loved staying here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room had a great Mountain View. It’s one of the cutest hotels we’ve stayed in. I wish there was a drop box for keys, we left early in the morning but the lobby was locked so we couldn’t check out. We left our key in the room and called the hotel at 7 am to let them know. We had already prepaid so it wasn’t a big deal. Highly recommend this cute little getaway hotel.

I can't say enough about this wonderful hotel - our favorite in Iceland. We have traveled through Iceland for 9 days now and this has been, by far, the best hotel. Our room was beautiful, with a balcony overlooking the water. The hotel had a kind of museum in it that was interesting and not quite hokey. The staff was terrific, particularly the general manager - very friendly and willing to chat and answer our questions. Food was very good.

This hotel was awesome. One thing to note, there is an old, historic side (red roof) and a modern addition (left side). We stayed in both - more on that in a moment. First off, the staff, all of them, are amazing. We were there two nights, morning staff, evening staff, wait staff, every single person was wonderful, We even said something to the hotel manager about how professional everyone was, particularly the front desk.
