Great experience at the property

We loved staying here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room had a great Mountain View. It’s one of the cutest hotels we’ve stayed in. I wish there was a drop box for keys, we left early in the morning but the lobby was locked so we couldn’t check out. We left our key in the room and called the hotel at 7 am to let them know. We had already prepaid so it wasn’t a big deal. Highly recommend this cute little getaway hotel.

Perfect stay - luxurious and comfortable

The only thing I did not like was the church bell across the street that rings every 15 minutes, but the hotel provides ear plugs. They were a great help.

Great location, right across from the Geysirs and 10 minutes to Gullfoss waterfall. The room was spacious. Hotel common area was lovely and quiet. The only negative was the room was warm (no AC and no fan); the only solution is to turn the heat off and open the door (but there are quite a bit of insects in the area). At the hotel restaurant we ordered the chicken wings (very good), lamb chops (good), hamburger (odd).

Nice clean room and yummy breakfast

Great place to stay. Great food, close to the airport, and in a quiet, scenic part of the country, away from the city.

I had the most enjoyable stay at Eyja Guldsmeden! A very clean hotel with excellent service! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location of the hotel is very convenient. Special thanks to Laura who was super nice and helpful with dining recommendations! Will be back!

The property was beautiful. Updated, and the staff is very friendly. There was no parking, so that got a little pricey if you wanted to park close to the hotel, but I think that’s the norm in Reykjavík. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Iceland.

Hotel Kria was a perfect place to stay on the southern coast of Iceland. It was a cozy and welcoming environment with very nice room accommodations. The location was perfect for exploring Thorsmork, walking along the black sand beaches, and served as our home base for exploring Skaftafell national park and the glacier lagoons. Good hotel in the area of the golden circle Convenient to visit the beatufull sightseeing of this area

We stayed for only one night, but this is one of our favorite hotels. First of all, we are family of 5 and stayed in the family room. It is more than enough to accommodate six people comfortably. The hotel is also extremely well maintained and very clean. It is directly across the street from a grocery store. Just wanted to say the staff here made our trip memorable. The breakfast was fantastic. Prior to arriving I let the staff know we would be arriving early due to a early flight and needed to freshen up due to me proposing. They made the accommodation. Hotel Selja is in the perfect location to see and do so many things in Iceland! The rooms are very comfortable, clean and well designed. Lots of outlets, great waterfall shower which was very spacious, good wi-fi, very comfortable beds, black-out curtains to block out the midnight sun, and very beautiful surroundings. Our stay was fantastic. Would stay again. Small, but very clean and stylish hotel. SOLID breakfast options. Great service at the restaurant. Felt like we were eating a classy dinner. And the BUTTER at this restaurant is phenomenal. It's been over a week since we stayed here and we can't stop talking about the bread and butter.

The property itself is really lovely, however the ceiling to floor room windows were amazing. The aurora came to life and we were able to watch it from the comfort of our room. Once in a lifetime amazing experience.
