The operation of the hotel is managed from a local restaurant, no onsite staffing.
The beds were the most oldest ones we ever slept on from different hotels in our life. I wasn't able to fall in sleep the whole entire night since bed was too soft with no support pillow. The room was super small, same as bathroom. Loud noise from cars passed by, same with people walked on the street talking very loud.

Staff was fantastic, but the accommodation is very old. Can't complain though, as the staff's great service made up for it!
Do to unforeseen road closures caused by weather. I was physical unable to reach the hotel. Ive reached out to receave a refund and was denied. The road was closed for three days; I was surprised there no refund policy would envolve elements not in my control.
Lovely town- tiny room - but everything we needed! Walked to grocery and dinner- easy friendly town- older property but the windows opened during the day when it was warm and the boiler worked at night when it was cold - updated and restored nicely
Wonderful little hotel! We stayed in December 2023 in a triple room with a great view out onto the ship harbor. It was easy to get in touch with reception to check in and he was wonderful to let us know which restaurant in town was open for the evening. There’s a fridge in the desk that we didn’t find until the next morning.
Property manager(s) were incredibly kind and patient with us. The room we actually booked was under construction due to a recent water leakage, so the property manager provided us an upgraded stay for the same price we originally paid. They provided us the opportunity to dine in for breakfast and were so nice to offer help when we had lost our drone to the tree by the blue church 😭 we’ve accepted our loss, but really appreciate their offer - it really is the thought that counts ❤️
The hotel was lovely but our room had a very strong mouldy smell coming from the bathroom, and the shower tiles appeared to have mould growing in spots. We could not keep the door to the bathroom open for any length of time because of this as it overpowered the whole room. We also did not feel comfortable to shower.
Quite cozy rooms next to the beautiful lake. We were confused in the Checkin process as it is at a separate hotel but the hotel is quite near like next building so all in all it was a good stay. We also saw northern lights from the place.
