Beautiful setting and location. This place is fantastic with a relaxing atmosphere, great service but not overdone, with a sense that you are more of a guest at a home stay. The food is really great and they will help you and your partner celebrate a birthday or other event, but not a place to go and party down if that’s what you want.

We accidentally found this fabulous hotel due to sudden change of our vacation plan. Hotel is located in very calm quiet area within 10 km from Sigiriya local ticketing office. We had an unexpectedly wonderful time in the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and supportive. Hotel has two well maintained pools and beautiful restaurant. Room and the whole hotel was very clean. Foods are so delicious as well. Highly recommend for couples or anyone would like to spend true relax time before or...

There are multiple activities within walking distance - casino, spa, bar, pool. sea, restaurant, shopping mall, etc. The hotel is self contained and enjoyable by family members of different ages. It is affordable compared to other hotels in Colombo. It is new and well maintained. Staff speak English, friendly, and helpful.

A peaceful nature retreat with incredible fresh food. Our stay at Kalu’s Hideaway was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We loved the wholesome farm-to-table dining—tasting fresh red dragon fruit straight from the garden, sweet pineapples, mangos, and delicious Sri Lankan vegetables. The property itself is surrounded by nature. The butterfly garden was an unexpected treat, and waking up to the tranquil morning sounds of birds overlooking the Udawalawe reserve canopy was magical. One of the best hotels that my family and I have stayed in. We have used a lot of different hotels throughout the world and Shangri La Colombo ranks one of the best we have stayed in. Even with all the difficulties SL is in now, the hotel staff saw to our comfort without any complaints. I salute the staff and management for their gracious hospitality. Thank you!

This boutique hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms are very welcoming, beautifully decorated, nice sitting at work area, great bed and wonderful shower. The outdoor sitting areas are wonderful.. it’s like being in your own oasis. breakfast was delightful thank you Jennis and Aastha and staff for a marvelous 5 day stay.

Thank you for a wonderful time at your hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. I cannot think of anything we did not like. The location is beautiful, the room was fantastic, the food amazing (quality, variety and presentation), and the staff kind, professional, and efficient. We were welcomed and sent on our way by Dilshan. All waiters at the restaurant were wonderful but we would especially like to acknowledge the service of Chinthaka. We had great fun on our 4 safari tours with our excellent guide Yesi. We saw leopards,...

Location attached to Colombo City Centre mall for a range of shopping options. Tuk Tuk and taxis easily accessible.

The quality and comfort of the rooms is great. The staff is great. It is not a busy, active party hotel. It is a very comfortable quiet hotel with excellent staff and service. Amila, the manager demonstrated exceptional service as I was leaving the hotel.
