Last-minute hotel deals in Johnson City

We loved our stay at Walden Retreats. Becky checked us in and was so welcoming and informative of our tent and things to do while we were there. I was worried that the tent would be warm in the first of August, but we kept the shades down during the day and the fans on. My husband and I actually woke up cold in the morning, so we were just fine. I couldn't believe how clean the tent itself was. This was the best property we have ever stayed in at Fredericksburg, Texas! The property was absolutely five stars! Everything about it was absolutely lovely. It was spacious, it was clean. It was perfectly decorated, check in and check out with seamless, David was an absolute gentleman at check-in and check out, and the giant Jacuzzi and fireplace were to die for. Oh, and one last thing, the location was excellent!

The resort is very easy to find, but feels remote. Plenty of parking, super clean grounds. Cabin 109 was perfect for two adults. It’s essentially a studio; one giant room with two beds, a table, and the cutest little kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge and freezer, and sink. There were no napkins, silverware, paper towels, or plates, so BYO if you plan on eating in the room. Coffee/ single Keurig was provided with pods, sugar and creamer. This hotel is picture perfect it's set in a beautiful spot in the hill country! I went with my mom and two young children the rooms each fill like little cabins and are beautifully decorated. The bed was very nice only high quality sheets and pillows. This place is a true retreat!

This place is amazing. The most at home and at ease I have ever felt travelling. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Very clean property.

Amazing place! Clean, cute, big property. They’re building a 2nd pool and a restaurant. We stayed at Yurt type cabin, no restroom tho but we still enjoyed the stay. Club house is also has games, sits to hang out, as well us outdoor fire pit.

Big shout out to Becky who took care of us from check in to dining. Carter Creek Resort & Spa is a great place to stay. Will definitely go back there.

This was a last minute trip to get away from the cold weather in Dallas. We decided to go, found the cabin and got on the road all in an hour. The cabin was clean (most importantly and not always the case with other properties), ROOMY, quiet, cute and convenient! Just a few minutes from Main Street in FB and not much further from our favorite place, people and music at Johnny Nichols’ Hill Top Cafe. We were back in Dallas in 24 hours so, we will definitely go back to experience the outdoor...

We loved the uniqueness of our room. Comfortable furniture with an emphasis on Texas style. The Jacuzzi tub was a nice upgrade. We enjoyed having breakfast delivered each morning and loved the patio, too. The bed was also comfortable.

Super nice and spacious hotel. Rooms were clean, I particularly loved the mostly no-carpet rooms. Breakfast was great, pool area was nice. About 11 minutes from the Capital and Lady Bird Lake, with plenty of places to eat around. Parking lot was just a few steps away from hotel, fee was reasonable for the area. Overall great hotel, I will definitely recommend and will stay here again.
