The location is fantastic - with views of the Fontainebleau Chateau and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was elegantly appointed, very clean, and thoughtfully presented. The beds were very comfortable and the room contained eerything we needed. Great stay for a week! Perfect location, walking distance to everything. The king suite is highly recommended, very spacious.

I booked thru expedia tho I had stayed at this hotel before on business while at instead. I was upgraded to a deluxe room for no extra charge and it was truly wonderful. Room just lovely. Bathroom redone complete w fabulous Jacuzzi to ease tension of long haul flights. Went to bed relaxed and cozy. Staff extraordinarily welcoming and helpful as always. Can't wait to go back!

Superb hotel just right for our needs, close to town centre and the chateau, good parking nice sized garden with very clean and comfortable rooms, because we brought a dog we were given a ground floor room which opened out to the garden. Very friendly and helpful staff, will certainly stay again!

Small and directly on the main city center street area and I enjoyed walking to the local restaurants and shopping. Staff here were exceptionally helpful. They go out of their way to help you. Saturday night street activity was heard from the room. No AC but a good fan. Parking was safe, off site and about a 3 minute walk.

Thank you for a one of a kind stay! The room, gardens and gallery are beautiful. Such a unique place from which to explore the Barbizon painters, and the woods which inspired them.

This is a great family owned and run castle in the heart of the castle district. Train to Paris is walking distance as are fine restaurants.

The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The property location allowed for easy access to Paris by train and Vaux le Vicomte and Fountainebleau are both a short drive away. The property is located on the Seine river which allowed us the ability to swim in and relax by the Seine. We would definitely return to this property if our travels should ever bring us back to France.

A lovely, quiet, rustic setting with a comfortable room. Hostess was pleasant and helpful. Nothing to dislike.

Convenient location midway between Paris and our final destination, Sancerre. Rural area, very quiet, very clean, plenty of parking, well maintained, friendly people, nice continental breakfast.
