Last-minute hotel deals in Mérida

Until now, I had not written a review of a hotel, and felt this time was important to do. Cleanliness is very important to me and my husband, and our room was immaculate. The owner was extremely kind, and went out of his way to help. We had made reservations at the last minute, after having a negative experience with a vacation rental. It was such a relief, walking into Hotel Seranata, and be greeted with such positive energy.

The place looks exactly as it's photographed. It's a lovely, brand new build with excellent design. Juan, the host, is easy to communicate with and made check-in and check-out a breeze. Would stay here again if we return. Thoroughly enjoyed our suite with a fridge and kitchen so that we could store some drinks. Gracias!

Room was great

We had to leave our Airbnb early due to excessive noise and ended up here. This place is sooo quiet. The room: layout was spacious and well thought out with a comfy bed. There were some complaints in the reviews of the shower not getting hot. We initially thought we had that problem too but after at least 2 minutes of letting the water run it turned hot. My suggestion, leave the handle right in the middle of hot and cold and let it run. That may help. The rooftop swimming pool/Fitness...

We loved Merida and Luz en Yucantan hotel. Our party of four utilized three different rooms over four nights. The room La Puesta del Sol room was noisy at night due to music from the park a block away even on week nights. Both La Perla and La Sombra rooms faced the pool and were quiet at night. The former had a large patio in front with table and chairs. All beds were comfortable, showers had hot water and the breakfasts were delectable. Big and affordable apartment, excellent and friendly staff who are eager to serve you. Very convenient location with plenty of parking space.

We love this hotel!! Although we visit Merida frequently, this is the first time staying at Casa Tavera. We found the place to be a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was splendid with an amazingly comfortable bed. The pool was very inviting and the daily breakfast was delicious (try their horchata!). Casa Tavera will definitely be our hotel of choice on our future visits to Merida. Thank you to management and staff for a wonderful stay!

This hotel is amazong and freindly

We were in Merida for eight days and we LOVED this hotel! It was small, well-kept and very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. The location was perfect about 6 blocks north of the Plaza. Down the street from the hotel was the Negrita Cantina; a must-visit place. We'll definitely be staying at Koox Casa de las Palomas again on our next visit!
