We got a room overlooking the river and garden. The room was very nice and updated. It came with a refrigerator and microwave, which is always handy to have. Easy access to the room from the parking lot.
The view was beautiful.
You can ask for a non-pets room if you are severely allergic. We didn't know this, and we both have some allergies, but the room was clean and we didn't notice it at all (assuming pets had been in the room).

Fun old hotel right downtown and easy walking to to shopping and dinning. Since it’s old, there are a good number of outside noises (cars, people, ghosts, etc..) bring ear plugs.

I was in town for the Hood River Follies, a play put on for 6 days over two weekends, sponsored by the local area Lions Club's, (this was the 39th year) with a cast of about 75...
