My husband and I celebrated Christmas and his 50th birthday at this wonderful hotel nestled just outside Ste. Anne, a quiet retreat from the noisier resorts. We stayed at La Toubana in July 2017. The staff was very welcoming and the restaurant even provided dinner for us on our first night even though we arrived past closing due to a 7 hour flight delay. The amenities are beautiful with comfortable loungers at both the pool and beach. Food is excellent. Our room was a stunning two story condo type room up on the hill. This place is perfect for worldly travelers with children. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment. It came with a small, well equipped kitchenette on the veranda. Perfect for cooking meals with spectacular sunset views and star gazing. Housekeeping services were provided with towel exchanges in the middle of the week. Good place to stay near Plage caravelle and saint anne. Staff friendly and excellent breakfast.

Great room and location

The AC didn’t work at first but the mgr got back to me quickly and it was resolved. It was a very good stay after that, the staff were lovely to me and the bed was super comfy!!! Small space but comfortable for one person or a couple.

The villa for our 6 person group was perfect - large and the decor was lovely. Kitchen was modern and well-equipped. Everything was very clean. Private pool is small. Restaurant dinner fare was delicious. Staff were helpful and many spoke English. Room refresh must be requested. Carrefore grocery is a short 6 minute drive (closed Sundays). Would absolutely stay again.

Nice place with full air condition. The written WIFI code is a wrong code so do not waste your time using it. You can call the guy to give the correct code. The place has no kitchen. I was initially under the impression that it got one. Generally, I like the place because I got enough area to do my walking exercises and I can easily catch buses to do my business.

The staff is very friendly and attentive and the decor is top notch. Would recommend to anyone seeking a taste of the city and wanting a charming comfortable home base.

We had a very pleasant week at Habitation Du Compte. The restaurant is quite good. Chef Anthony prepared a gourmet Valentine's Day dinner. The hotel is clean and comfortable and it's just a short drive to some of the beautiful beaches on Guadeloupe. The nearby town of Sainte Rose nearby has several good restaurants as does Deshaies a further drive away.

Rooms clean with tiled floors, enough closet space and refrigerator & includes a safe. Lobby, bar, restaurant very nice and open to the sea. Nicely landscaped with well maintained pool, and private beach also well maintained (sand raked daily). Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Rooms are large and well decorated. There are some pictures on walls. There is kitchen in the room with microwave, electric range, dishes, kettle, cups... Very good location near beach. Wonderful sea view from big balcon. But staff don't speak English, only French. Reception works only from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. sauf week-end.
