Last-minute hotel deals in Porterville

The room was cozy and comfortable. The bed pillows were perfect, I love my pillow firm and my husband prefers soft. The location of the Hotel was close to the main roads of Porterville, yet we heard no road noise. the room was very quiet.

We selected the Best Western in Exeter while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon. It’s located in a small, quite farming town. We found Restaurants were limited in town but had Lunch on day one and Dinner on day two in Three Rivers at River View (great hamburgers and chicken sandwiches). The hotel did sever a small continental breakfast you can take back to your room. Travel time to the Sequoia visitor center was appx. 1 hr and to Kings Canyon was about 1 1/2 hours.

It was right off the freeway and there are many places to eat around the area. I think the only thing I didn’t like were the homeless around the area but nothing you could do about that.

Really loved the architecture and uniqueness of the hotel. The restaurant was also excellent.

It was great as always. We frequent the area often. This last time my wife found some bed bugs in our suite. Hopefully they fix that.

When you look on the outside of the building it doesn’t look nice but when you go inside there very pretty. 😍

This hotel is on the way to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park from Los Angeles. One of the last large, budget hotels due south of the Park, before you start getting into the smaller, resort-priced places right next to the Park. The Motel 6 in nearby Porterville LOOKS cheaper--but BEWARE! The Motel 6 hides a $50 "administrative fee" in addition to the price advertised on Hotels.com. So I'd rather stay at a place that just tells me how much its rooms costs, like Super 8 did, than a place...

Great place, all you could hear was the river and the birds.

There’s soo much bars and restaurants to go to and it’s close by. The staff are very friendly

We visited for four days during July 2017. Had a great stay at this location!! Sarge and Debbie, the owners, do a fantastic job of making you feel at home and welcomed!! The rooms are clean with working AC and Cable TV, not that you'll spend much time in your room with all of the outdoor activities in the area!! The property has direct access down to Kern River, with great places to sit back and enjoy the views and meditate by the water. There is a General Store right across the street,...

stayed 1 night, 2 people in an accessible room which meant our sleeping area was huge. extremely comfortable beds and pillows- like sleeping on clouds. the breakfast is the icing on the cake, and as a foodie, I was very satisfied with the generous delicious offerings, and as a coffee drinker I was quite surprised that they actually served REALLY good coffee! we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would book there again. I highly recommend it.
