We scheduled the hotel to pick us up at airport. It was so nice to get off a long plane ride and see someone holding a card with your name on it. From SJO to Jaco was in a comfortable Mercedes van with cold water and beer waiting for us. Once we got to Club del Mar, it could not have been any better. We can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The people we met there had all stayed there 3-5 times previously. We also plan to come back again. The staff treated us like family. The property is pure paradise. The food was 5⭐️.

Staff was amazing! It was during the week so very quiet but regardless it was very peaceful. The food was also really good.

From the first interaction with Steven in reception (complimentary glass of wine upon arrival), to their willingness to help. I had a race and was not able to take advantage of their buffet breakfast, however the kitchen was kind enough to prepare me a plate of food that was amazing upon my return back to the hotel. It was a very quiet place Very clean. Easy check in and out. Owner was quick to respond via messages. Would be a great place to stay for a honeymoon.

Everything was super nice and modern and the food was good

The private room was very clean and just big enough to stretch out. The air conditioning was very strong. Nikki, the receptionist on duty during our stay, was a wonderful help to us and devoted some of her own time helping us plan our time in Jaco. The pool is lovely, and the hostel owners make a wonderful Gallo Pinto for breakfast every morning.

Absolutely incredible and service on point food is good

AMAZING! This hotel is beautiful... I felt like I was in the Garden of Eden. I loved everything about it. The food, the pool, the pristine rooms with an incredible bathroom and shower. If you are looking for a place to relax and forget the world, this is it.

Arrived early and given keys to unit 3 hours before regular check in. Office staff friendly and very accomodating. No paperwork and no credit card asked for at check in. Room was amazing. Large rooms nicely furnished. Excellent a/c. TV's in both bedrooms and living room. Huge kitchen with marble counter tops and with lots of utensils and appliances and a supermarket about a 3 minute walk from the complex. A laundry room with washer and dryer. Plenty of towels. I traveled with my son and guest to Costa Rica to experience the country for the first time. Me for the wildlife and escape, my son for the volcanoes. We got EVERYTHING. The hotel was an hour or so from the San Jose airport, offered the conveniences of a resort and provided a peaceful and overwhelmingly beautiful atmosphere. We stopped here one night as part of a longer road trip. The room was comfortable - great AC and shower and the Wifi was great. Beds are double not queen so a little small. The pool area was nice but needed a little cleaning up. We didn’t have breakfast as we left before it was available at 7.30am.

Amazing value. Rooms were very clean. The service was excellent. The restaurant was very good. We will definitely be back.
