This was so much more than just a beautiful place to stay — the level of care, warmth and hospitality completely made my trip to Nosara. From before I even arrived, the team went above and beyond. They took the time to speak with me beforehand, helped organise my itinerary and reservations, made sure my friend and I could be close together when she arrived, and were always available whenever I needed...

We were greeted when we pulled up and helped with our luggage. Check in was easy. The staff extremely helpful and nice. We were given a tour of the property while our luggage was taken to our room. There were bikes to use as you wanted. A nice swimming pool. Surf boards for lessons. A surf school on property. The room was large and clean. The AC only in the bedroom. Coffee maker. Dishes/glassware. We had reusable water bottles waiting for us in our room. Pack this souvenir on your way...

My husband I have have stayed at this hotel 2 times now and really like the staff, facilities and the location. It’s located in perfect walking distance to whatever you are looking for. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this goes

We loved the location! The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Right in the heart of town it was easy to walk to any restaurant and easy walk to the beach! We will be back!!!

The roads getting to the property — and the Nosara area — were incredibly bumpy and rough. Once we arrived it was totally worth it. The staff was very friendly, they helped us with our Spanish, made it easy to schedule rides to town and activities offered. The restsurant was beautiful and the food was fresh and they had light healthy options. There is only 1 restaurant on site, so going into town for some meals was nice (La Luna has the best sunsets ever) The onsite pool were perfect—the views...

We only had two nights at Rio Perdido but they were amazing. From the moment we walked in and were welcomed with the most delicious passion fruit welcome drink till the moment we checked out with the friendly folk at reception, we felt warmly received and graciously cared for. Steven greeted us as we entered - he was very attentive and warm as he told us about the hotel and its various offerings. This hotel is on the beach, has amazing grounds, and a chef who worked with my crazy dietary restrictions. There were two other guests who also had food intolerances/allergies, and both were easily accommodated.The breakfast buffet had many fabulous choices. The staff encourages you to order anything else you don't see ...Bacon, fried eggs, omelettes. We drank the 'house water' (from the filtered tap at the bar) the entire time and didn't get sick. It’s a beautiful place to visit. The view is amazing, the food is actually great. My only displeasure was they didn’t have tv BUT that just means you’ll have more reason to connect with family, wife/husband or what ever friends you came with.

The hotel is easy walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The ease for making arrangements - transportation to other area attractions as well as other locations in Costa Rica - plus COVID testing on site, and thoughtful room design made this a pleasant place to stay. I learned a lot at the lessons I took at the hotel’s surf club.

Great place to stay if planning on seeing arribada at Ostional, we had 4x4 so had no issues driving that last signing with pit holes. Great breakfast! We came after 6pm after normal check in hours but got checked in by staff no issues. Overall will definitely stay here again and recommend!

Milena and her husband are truly wonderful people who shared their little gem with anyone who stays over and you just don’t want to leave. This place is truly special I strongly recommend. I have travel all over the world and this place had the best hospitality and food for a reasonable price. We extend our stayed and can’t wait to be back again :)

Good location only a 10 minute walk to beautiful Carrillo Beach, easy walk to restaurants and market. Big room, super clean, friendly and helpful staff, great pool, delicious breakfast and more! Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at The Coast Beachfront Hotel! The staff is amazing. The room was awesome. Wonderful experience and we will be back. It was even better than some of the places we’ve stayed beachfront in the US. We can hardly wait to go back!

The grounds at the hotel are amazing. The tropical gardens that surround the guest rooms, paths, and pool make for a very relaxing stay. The rooms are spaced well apart and have a lot if privacy from the covered verandas. The views are incredible. The location is perfect for exploring and taking advantage of the many activities in the area.

If you are looking for a great resort that is quite, peaceful, and to get away from everything this is it. The rooms looking over the ocean were scenic and it was just a short walk to the beaches. They even had a small place that belonged only to the resort. It was close enough to the shops that you could walk around. The hotel made itself secluded so you didn't feel like you were in town. My boyfriend and I had the most relaxing stay here. It was our favorite stop in Costa Rica thus far. The property itself is gorgeous, the food is incredible and the people are so nice and accommodating. We felt like family and will most certainly be back again! Do not hesitate to come here for a little rest and relaxation. It was just what we needed.

When we arrived there was a hiccup at airport / rental car. I was very concerned but called Thisbee. She calmed me, explained options, and was a trusted colleague. The owners went well above their “jobs” to assure our stay was perfect, and it was.
