Everything in the hotel was fine. However, because I had to change the booking, I was unaware I had to leave the hotel one day before my plans.
It would be useful, especially for older travelers like us, to remind the dates for the stay during check-in such that any discrepancy would be easily solved.

The amenities included were excellent and in super working order. The only thing I would say is that I was a bit surprised that there weren't more amenities. For example, there's no kettle in the room, kitchenette, or fridge. Despite this, the grounds are excellent, the rooms are comfortable, and the stay was superb.

"I booked a double room but was given a twin. This was not what I wanted. The lift was very old and it took forever to arrive and forever to get to the floor you wanted. Finally the air conditioning was worse than useless and in this hot weather that was far from ideal."
