We did some outdoor grilling and a fire in the pit on a very starry night. The kids were disappointed that the hottub wasn't working that weekend, but there were plenty of games and some swings nearby to keep them occupied."

"We stayed four nights. The log home is even nicer than the pictures. Very comfortable and clean. Suzy the host was so hospitable, she had coffee stuff and and snacks available in the home for guests. Very peaceful setting, so easy to relax in. The front porch and rear patio were awesome to have our coffee on. We would definetely go back. We love history and antiques so this was a perfect place for us to stay."

"This was the most beautiful, serene, relaxing place I’ve ever rented. There was a river beside it and beautiful lush greenery. It was adorable, there was a swing underneath the porch for enjoying nature yet still only a few minutes from the college and downtown. It was fabulous. "

"I called the owner the night before for check in info as I had not heard from him he told me that there was already someone else in the cabin. We had booked this cabin in Feb. 5 months before and paid in full needless to say I was not a happy camper. We did get a full refund from him. However I can not help but think of I had to cancel the night before I would have been out the money I feel he owes me more then just what we paid some kind of reimbursement for all the trouble we had to go...

"Oh, my goodness - our bungalow in Appomattox was the most pleasing VRBO we have ever rented! Charming to the max, spotlessly clean, comfortable, inviting, well-furnished, relaxing, and restful. Every detail was tended to. It was the kind of place that makes one want to stay much longer. Particularly nice were the rocking chairs and swing on the front porch...idyllic. Perfect for our morning cups of coffee. Our host, Susan, was wonderful from the get-go, and responded very quickly to my inquiry...

"We spent a night here while attending a graduation at Liberty. Everything was fantastic. The rennovations are top notch, the proximity to everythhing was graet. Beds were comfy and we had a fantastic time. Definitely will stay here again when going back to Liberty events!"
