"Loved the character of the house and the location is great — direct walking/golf cart path to the water. Our two dogs loved the yard and being able to swim. We saw lots of deer in the mornings and evening. Sunrises/sunsets were amazing. House was clean and comfortable! Thanks for sharing!"

"Initially we had reservations to camp at Colorado Bend State Park....but the weather looked ominous so we pivoted...and it couldn't have gone better. The Silo Cabin is a lovely place out in the middle of the gorgeous hillcountry. The checkin process was seamles and the cabin well appointed. It was a unique experience and the Silo is so relaxing. "My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 12th wedding Anniversary. Such a great idea to change things up. We absolutely enjoyed everything about this cozy getaway. We had everything we needed to be able to fully enjoy ourselves. The owners were absolutely awesome in making sure we had a great stay and connected with us during our trip to give us some great pointers for local fare and things to do. I wanted them to experience sitting around a picnic table rather than a living room, everyone sharing one room, one bathroom for all of us, no screens for most of the day, few appliances. "Everything was perfect and we loved the property. It was quiet and peaceful and we got a very good night's sleep. Only thing I would change is a tankless hot water heater or larger one so you dont run out of hot water filling the jetted tub the required amount. Therw was no sugar for the coffe and its the one thing i didn't think to bring and the the dish didnt come on. All in all I would absolutely stay again.
