One draw back was there was a slight musty smell in the basement, but our teenager had no trouble sleeping down there or using the pool table. "My husband and I needed a quiet get-away and this was the perfect place! Our hosts graciously met us to check us in, even when we arrived late. They walked us in to make sure everything was in tip-top shape and that we had everything we needed! They were friendly and stayed in good communication through texting. The cabin was comfortable and cozy and the view of the lake beautiful! We will come again! Highly recommend!"

"The cabin worked for a home base for us, but it was not what was pictured...not even close!! outside was nothing like the picture, cabin looked older. Upon arrival, kitchen sink was dirty, stove had obviously had something hot spilled on knobs that were melted and grimy, stove had no propane, we had to switch the tank over (they did refill it), they provide the charchoal grill as listed, but no utensils. "This place is a hidden gem. It has so many amenities. Communication with staff was awesome. The grounds are perfect. They upgraded our booking, and provided a TV at request. The pool was awesome. I told them that they need to update the site about the hot tub. It is only available with a certain cabin. The views of the lake were sublime. Also enjoyed the firepit. Overall loved it, and plan to return with family."
