"Cute retro in heart of dublin city center"
I picked this hotel because the rooms looked super cute, I stayed in one of the punk bunk rooms. The room was much smaller then I had anticipated, but I didn't mind (just giving a heads up for anyone who books this room you won't have a lot of space for luggage and there is no closet). My friends and I had cocktails upstairs which were delicious. The hotel is also very conveniently located, only 5 minute walk from Grafton Street. I will definitely be staying here my next time in Dublin.

"Great value for money"
The location was ideal-very short walk to city center and about 10 minutes from Temple Bar. Great room and really good breakfast. Noisy at night but in a pleasant way - loud but really good music from the club downstairs. You can either go down for a drink or use the ear plugs provided and get some rest in the huge extra comfy bed. We would definitely stay there again!

"Superior Hotel in All Respects"
The Fitzwilliam is a modern hotel in a GREAT location at the foot of Grafton Street, a major shopping destination. It's within walking distance of all the major Dublin City Center sites (e.g. Trinity College and the Book of Kells, Christ Church, and Temple Bar). We were greeted warmly by the staff who answered questions and provided information on how to navigate in the city. The concierge went the extra mile to try to get us good tickets to Riverdance on a last minute request which is emblematic of the kind of service the hotel provides. When we had trouble logging in to the internet at 11:00 p.m., staff came up and resolved the issues within fifteen minutes. This would be our first choice for a hotel in Dublin and we would be very happy to clone it and stay in it in other cities.

"Great location for a visit to Dublin city center."
The hotel is only a few blocks from the entrance to Trinity College, to the bridge leading to O'Connell street to the north of the river (and to the bus station for excursions out of the city), and to Temple Bar. We walked everywhere we wanted to go (to the Guinness storehouse was the farthest we walked, over a mile away, but you could easily take the bus instead). We didn't need to use the bus system although there are routes to take you anywhere in the city, along with hop-on/hop-off sightseeing buses. The bus from the airport dropped us off a couple blocks south of the entrance to Trinity College so it was less than a 10 minute walk to find the hotel. The hotel staff were courteous and efficient, the room was clean and well equipped. We did not use the restaurant or bar, but they looked busy. Our only issue was that our room overlooked the courtyard of the fire station, so we had some noise from bells and sirens as they went out on calls and the morning routine checking of the equipment. I would stay there again, but would ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.

I don't do signed reviews apart from trip advisor occasionally. I rate all hotels booked through Expedia in this trip as excellent. And I (we) are very critical. However, all staff at Staycity seem to go beyond the call of duty. They are full of enthusiasm and do not simply do what they are paid to do!

"Beautiful historical hotel in a great location"
We had two rooms for two nights. One was larger with a king bed, one was smaller with two doubles. Very clean and comfortable. Larger room was quite lovely and worth the extra money. Staff was extremely courteous and professional (with the exception of a somewhat over-zealous pool attendant). Delicious and elegant brunch every morning, included with the room. Would happily stay here again.
