“This is a nice hotel in a nice area. The good choice of restaurants on the street are a plus. The rooms are clean and well presented, although the view was of the carpark and there are some maintenance issues like the slow draining sink which needs looking into. The reception staff were pleasant but didn’t give us any further information other than our room number. A huge disappointment though is how housekeeping do not stand by the hotels eco friendly practices - towels which are left hanging……

“This is a hidden gem that should be rated as a 5 star. The rooms were excellent, modern and luxurious. The furnishings in the room were exquisite. The bar area was excellent and the roof top area was beautiful, with excellent breakfast. Also, the location was very good; a short walk to Merrion Square and Trinity College. The only thing missing are proper parking options.”

“Thebhotel and room were dated and room air-conditioning was poor. The sink in the hand bath was blocked and water ran slow. Toom is a bit dark. For almost 500 pounds a night i woild stay in the Premium inn next”

“The Mont is a charming hotel with a fantastic gym and friendly staff in a great location - within easy walking distance to Grafton Street, Trinity and Temple Bar. It’s in a quieter area, near a park, which made for a very pleasant stay. Room was spotless and updated. My teenage son and I were only able to stay one night on a stopover through Dublin, but I would definitely stay longer next time. Highly recommend!”

“Rooms are big enough. Breakfast was great. The surrounding neighbourhood is nice and quiet but within reach to city centre. Highly recommended. ”

“Comfortable room with all the basic necessities in place. Friendly owner and staff. Close to bus stop for buses that take you to city centre. While the DART station is slightly far away, it’s a nice 20-minute walk in the neighbourhood (and through a lovely little park). I was spoilt by the delicious breakfast every morning! ”

“The staff were amazing and the breakfasts are simply the best, setting up the day extremely well. The property is very well maintained, comfortable, and has an intimate feel. My only minor comment is about the fans, which were not sufficient to circulate air or to get cooler air from outside into my 3rd floor room.”
