Better than Camping

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Nicer towels, comfortable chairs in the room.
Location: We have family nearby. This location would be great for a family going to the State Fair for numerous days or some of the other festivals in the DM a
No comfortable chairs in the room. Towels were chintzy. I can understand the economy of staying there for an extended period and bringing your own stuff (like towels, dishes, lawn chairs, etc.). I thought the bed was OK, my husband thought it was very uncomfortable and didn't sleep well at all. Overall, I would rate it one or two steps above camping--electricity and running water are very good things, as is air conditioning and keeping dry. We were only there one night so didn't need the kitchen. The location was excellent. Re the staff: Was there a staff? We had to go several times to try to check in. The price we paid for one night compared to the weekly rate was out of sight. Econolodge for less than half the price would have been better.

Key card needed to be replaced constantly. Staff not as attentive as I have been accustomed to. The room was clean and the price value was good for a room without any cushioned chair.

Great if your detoxing from meth

There were a lot of hidden charges and 'ZERO' ammenities. I booked a one room suite and when I arrived found no couch, a stove with no pots and pans, a fridge with no utensils, a shower with no soap or shampoo. I asked for pots and pans and they wanted to sell them to me for a separate charge! I ended up bookin another room somewhere else after the first night.
