"Lovely stay at the Four Seasons"
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons. While it is located out of the centre, it is walkable (30 minutes), cabs are in good supply or it's an easy 5 - 10 minute bus ride. The room was immaculate, as was the service. Our children loved the pool and the extra special treatment on checking in.

"SUPERB, BRILLIANT UNBEATABLE"
This hotel was only built 2 years ago and is as good as any hotel I have ever stayed in including Hilton etc. The design is fantastic, the bedrooms very spacious with a table and chairs where you can have your meals delivered from the restaurant if you wish. There is also a good restaurant and bar and the staff were really helpful and pleasant especially Rachael the receptionist. Very Very highly recommended.

"Weekend stay"
Good location; near enough to town to take a walk or short taxi ride and far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Good breakfast, the bar food in the evening was fine. The staff are always pleasant and helpful, this was my second stay there. Room was clean, quiet and plenty big enough.

"Friendly bed and breakfast"
Liam and Dei who run the Brookville bed and breakfast could not have been more helpful with detailed instructions how to get to the bed and breakfast and information about using the buses and where to eat. We stayed 4 nights in a triple room with our daughter. The house is set in a nice garden and is quiet. The rooms were comfortable with good WiFi and TV coverage. The place is about 30 minutes by bus from the center of Dublin. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

"Ireland"
Stayed here one night and that was enough. Pulled into the parking lot and there was garbage al over. Horrible first impression. Then when we went inside they couldn't find the reservation. Finally they found it and we had to lug everything upstairs ( no lift) and into a room where you had to watch your step. The room was clean but the ceiling and floors were tricky. The ceiling slanted and when you go out of bed you had to watch you did not hit your head. The floor had a step down inside the room for the door and the entry to the bathroom. On a positive side, the room was clean and the breakfast great. It was close to all amenities and the airport. Don't be fooled by the 'lodge' in the name. I was.

"Great airport layover retreat"
After Aer Lingus scheduled us into an overnight layover in Dublin when flying us from Paris to Chicago, we needed a place to sleep and to drop our luggage while dining. This turned out to be a great location, only a mile from the airport and a 20 Euro cab ride from Dublin's town center (full of restaurants, pubs and other diversions). The facilities were clean and comfortable, although the plumbing is old and feeble. The beds were comfortable, the storage space was good, and the room had a television. It's not the Ritz, and the building is not new, but it is not shabby, either, so no complaints. There is no A/C, but it's Dublin, so we can't imagine A/C is ever necessary. We were there in late June, and the overnight temp was 47F. The room was clean and the area was quiet, so we have absolutely no complaints. We'd recommend this place without reservation. There's a comfortable lobby gathering area with a fireplace, sofas and books, and a large, sunny breakfast room with views of two gardens. The "continental breakfast" included toast, yogurt, fruit, juices, tea and coffee, and was served on time. There's a shuttle to the airport for 2E per person, and the desk clerk can usually get you a cab in a few minutes, if you want to go anywhere else. Overall, it was a pleasant and convenient experience.

"Local hospitality at it's very finest."
Upon booking this hotel we did so as it has parking and a breakfast. - Litte did we know that the hotel would make our holiday the great weekend that it was. Upon arrival we were welcomed with such friendliness and familiarity. The room was impeccable and extremely quiet meaning we got a much needed good nights sleep after a day of sightseeing in dublin centre. In a morning it is fair to say that Maria's breakfast is exceptional - the choice is vast and special requests are taken with hot food all cooked to order. The hotel is perfect for a dublin break - we opted to use the DART train which got us into the city centre in 20 minutes. Also within a 5 minute walk from the hotel is a charming highstreet with good pubs and a range of shops - both local and bigger names.
