"Cabin was just as described. We stayed in October and got to see the leaves changing all around us. The cabin was very quiet, clean and peaceful. We enjoyed having coffee on the screened in porch, listening to the birds, taking naps in the comfy bed, and hiking. I recommend going to the harts creek conservation area about a half mile from cabin. I will definitely return in the future. "Quiet, cozy cabin surrounded by wildflowers, trees and singing birds. It was clean and comfortable and we loved the relaxing, natural setting. Games and art supplies were on hand. I used the Merlin app to sit on the deck, sip coffee, and identify numerous bird songs. We drove a Bronco and had no trouble fording the creek after a moderate rain. However the possibility of the creek flooding could be a problem for low vehicles. Great visit!"

"I was in town for a friend's wedding and had a great stay at The Carriage House at Parker's Place. It was quiet and clean. It was also near most of the attractions in the city and centrally located. Overall, I would definitely stay again when in town. Easy parking off the alley and nearby neighborhood is nice with historic houses. My only complaint, and this is relatively minor, is there was no closet to hang clothes. Typically, I don't need this when traveling, but I didn't have a good place...

"I travel to Jeff City weekly for work and this little gem was within walking distance. The house is quite old, as are all in the neighborhood, but the interior is nice. Can't say much for the neighborhood. Very few maintain their yards and there are empty or broken alcohol bottles all over. However, it's quiet during the business week so no complaints there. I can't very well blame the owners for the neighborhood, just providing some details. They've been very responsive to all of my questions...

"We loved everything about this house. The location had us 5-7 minutes from everything we wanted to see, the back yard gave us a feel of being in the woods and the back porch allowed us to relax while listening to everything going on around us (it was peacefully quiet so there was nothing but nature sounds)! The owners were so nice and we even chatted with the neighbors. We are planning an adult trip soon and cannot wait to come back"
