"This cottage provided a peaceful and relaxing retreat. It was clean and had amenities as listed. It was too cool for us to use the pool, but we enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at the beautiful wildflowers and basking in the quiet. We drove around many counties in the area visiting Fredericksburg, Dripping Springs, Kerrville, and Marble Falls. Enjoyed shopping, visiting wineries and distillery. One suggestion that my husband had was to move the bathroom mirror up 3 inches for taller folks....

"The Lighthouse was such a unique home for our trip. The kitchen was the best stocked I have ever had with a rental and it was much appreciated! Close to the wineries & distilleries for fun day excursions. If you’re looking to rent this home I would say it sleeps 9 comfortably at most. The host was great and communication the best! Thank you!"

"Walked into a welcoming home, put on a record, dropped stuff off into the huge (and so well-stocked!) kitchen, and we felt instantly comfortable at the Vagabonds. The location is perfect for walking around Johnson City, and accessing a lot of nearby fun in Fredericksburg, at the LBJ State Park, and so much more. "My two sisters and a small dog (approved ahead of time with extra fee) stayed at this beautiful home in Johnson City. The house layout is great as we all had our own bedroom and bath. The kitchen met all our needs and had the required pots,etc to make two meals at the house. The house is within easy walking distance to restaurants and wineries in downtown JC. The pool was nice but we chose not to pay the extra fee to heat it since the temperatures were chilly at night. We did like the backyard...

"We booked 2 years ago in anticipation of the solar eclipse happening on our 35th anniversary. We looked for a place large enough that we could include our family for these significant events. The house worked perfectly for us and our 3 kids/families. Ages ranged from 16 months to almost 70. Plenty of room for comfort. Kitchen was very well equipped my only suggestion would be to add a basic Mr. Coffee pot (we brought our own) in addition to the Kureig—2 pots a day for 8 adults equates to a lot...

"This property was as good as the listing portrayed. Clean, plenty of linens and garbage bags for 2 people. Loved the front porch and the back patio. There were only a couple of issues: road was being resurfaced one day and there isn’t any other way to the property; the instructions on how to get in were not adequate. Luckily the owner was there and helped. I would recommend this listing."

"Took a weekend getaway just my mom, brother and myself. We were super super excited loved the place awesome quiet and close to so many wineries. Super super clean house pool was super clean but unfortunately weather didn’t permit to use. We will definitely book again the whole family for a getaway."
