"We enjoyed our stay in the Cozy Amish Cabin. The cabin was very clean and the owners were easy to contact and great to deal with. The weather was unseasonably warm and we enjoyed several hours on the deck, taking in the view and the sunshine. Distance to Shipshewana and local businesses is only a few miles, easy to get to shop/eat and at the same time relax in the quiet of the lake cabin! We have stayed at several VRBO’s and this was the first one where after our stay the owner sent a message...

"We loved the hot tub, the porch and the cabin. We loved venturing to Goshen and Elkhart and visiting the towns. There was a coffee table with lighting above that was perfect for our puzzle! We were looking for an isolated cabin, and this is not that, but it was very nice and the beds were super comfy."

"Idyllic. The owners were so helpful and friendly. Everything we needed was already there...and then some!!! Soooo close to everything and yet it fell so far removed from the busyness. Would love to come again."

"We had a great time at the cottage. The kids loved the bunk bed room. There were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The view of the lake was pretty and the neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed eating our meals out on the deck, which was covered so the rain didn't stop us. One draw back was there was a slight musty smell in the basement, but our teenager had no trouble sleeping down there or using the pool table. "The cabin worked for a home base for us, but it was not what was pictured...not even close!! outside was nothing like the picture, cabin looked older. Upon arrival, kitchen sink was dirty, stove had obviously had something hot spilled on knobs that were melted and grimy, stove had no propane, we had to switch the tank over (they did refill it), they provide the charchoal grill as listed, but no utensils. It worked for this weekend, but will probably find another place next time. Pool was dirty -...

"Overnight stay to be able to attend Ship Chic in Shipshewana. Needed a place with 4 bedrooms for 4 adult females. Emma’s place fit the bill. Great communication, adorable house. Only issue was garage next door had roofers starting at 7:30 am and property owner has no control over that. We’re hoping to travel up that way again and would love to have a repeat stay at Emma’s Place"

"Working with the property owner was great as we were having odd check-in times. The cottage was beautiful and clean, plenty of rooms for another family. The lake was so nice, thinking about renting again this summer to make better use of it. Thank you! We will definitely be back!"

"Super clean and organized. Everything that was listed was there. We didn’t need anything that wasn’t there. The only suggestion I could make would be a fire pit in the back. Friday night out on the back patio was great with the stars out."
