Wonderful stayPosted May 19, 2014
Pros: The room was stunning - big comfortable bed, lovely lounge area. I enjoyed a set 3 course meal in the hotel restaurant.
Cons: There was a constant "hum" coming from the bathroom - I think it was the air extractor. Nothing unbearable though.
Location: Great for Russell Square - common location for Medical exams and interviews. Good proximity to the tube station and the British Museum.
I arrived at The Beauchamp to receive a warm welcome and was DELIGHTED to be given a free upgrade to the beautiful junior suite. Having never been upgraded for anything in my life, I was rather surprised and took this hopefully as a good omen for my big exam the following day.

Great Hotel in an easily accessible location.Posted May 5, 2014
First time in London and took a chance on this hotel. It really paid off. Feels very secure since you need to get buzzed in to the front door, and the hotel is immaculate. Loved the feel of the room and really liked that everything felt very clean. The staff was also very friendly, all contributing to a great experience. It was only a couple blocks from the Russell Square station, and there is a 24 hour liquor store where we were able to buy snacks and drinks before going back into the hotel at night.

Great hotel in a great locationPosted Apr 15, 2014
We stayed for two nights in this great hotel. It was positioned in a great spot with easy access to many areas. It was clean and had friendly and helpful staff. We will be using them again. Note: on our trip, this was the only hotel that didn't give free wi-fi - disappointing

Quiet, central, excellent valuePosted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: Quiet, clean
Cons: I had some problems getting hot water in the shower
Location: Bloomsbury - Birkbeck College - British Museum - Oxford Street
A really good value for money. Near the tube, and smack in Bloomsbury. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good room service. Recommended

Lovely hotel and very convenient locationPosted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: Comfortable and convenient to our needs
Cons: Requested a Gallic Coffee from bar for nightcap but they were unable to provide.
Location: British Museum just around the corner but all the main sightseeing attractions, theatre etc. are easily reached using the Tube.
Staff were very efficient, helpful and polite. On arrival we were upgraded to Junior Suite. On the second morning the room above was occupied and from about 7.00 am we could hear every footfall, which also caused the air vent in the ceiling, which was directly above the bed, to vibrate. Just a little annoying.

Nice hotel, good locationPosted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: Fairly quiet, on a side street. Hotel staff very courteous, helpful, and prompt. Clean, tidy and altogether very enjoyable.
Cons: Rooms were rather small and there was still some noise from the road.
Location: Many theatres nearby, minutes walk from Russell Square tube.
Checked in uneventfully and stayed one night travelling between Canada and Portugal. Quite impressed with all aspects of the hotel.

Pleasant convenient hotelPosted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: Smallness and friendliness of the staff and convenience
Location: Just off Southampton Row. 15 min walk from both Kings Cross station and Covent Garden
We have stayed in this area of London a few times but first time at this hotel. It well surpassed expectations and the room was comfy albeit the bed was a little on the short side!! The staff were very friendly and the hotel is small enough to feel friendly. Our room was on the street side of the hotel and could be quite noisy at times but nothing to disturb our stay.

Good LocationPosted Feb 4, 2014
The Hotel is in a great location for theatres, Covent Garden, etc as we prefer to walk everywhere. The Hotel itself was quiet, and in a nice location. The room was very clean and comfortable although quite small but had everything we needed for a weekend. However, our room overlooked the road and with single glazing (in keeping with the local architecture), the road noise disturbed us each night. We would stay at the Hotel again, just ask for a room at the rear of the building.

Fabulous property at a great price!Posted Jan 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were quite happy with The Beauchamp. The staff was friendly and pleasant. Our room was very clean and comfortable without breaking our bank. The neighborhood is quiet, and we always felt safe. You honestly can't beat the location...a short walk to a few Tube stops or Covent Garden/Soho. We have stayed at several properties in London in the past and have finally found the place we want to return. The Beauchamp is now our go-to hotel in London. Thank you to everyone at The Beauchamp for such a memorable experience!
