"We had a great stay at this hotel. Yes, it's a little old but it's clean. It has a restaurant on site which serves good food and drinks. We ate there twice during our 4-night stay. The swimming pools and hot tubs are very nice and well-maintained. The staff are helpful and friendly. There are restaurants and supermarket across the street and there are also food trucks next to the hotel. Dukes is walking distance if you walk on the boardwalk and the beach. It's a nice location. It is about 45 minutes away from the airport though."

Every staff member we encountered was friendly, and the front desk staff was very efficient and accommodating to us. Even with the construction going on next door, we found it pleasant and not too noisy. If we have the opportunity to return to Maui, our first choice for a hotel would be Maui Beach Hotel."
