Do not disturb, they go into your room!Posted Nov 26, 2013
Cons: The staff and the fact that they go into rooms when the guests have the DND sign up.
I checked into a room (124) on Friday. I spent the weekend working. I leave the DND sign on my door due to the amount of paperwork that I leave out and I don't want hotel staff in my room when I am not there. I left ,my room on Sunday at about 10AM and returned at about 5PM. I was very surprised to see a note from the hotel handyman that he had fixed the grab bar in the shower. I had not yet reported that it came out of the wall that morning and I almost fell, I did slip. I was going to report it when i came back to the hotel that evening. I also noted that my emerald and diamond ring that I forgot laying on the counter by the fridge in my room was also missing, it was laying right next to where the note from 'Allen' was laying. I went to the front desk to report that someone had been in my room and that my ring was missing. The very rude person at the desk said that Allen had worked there a long time and he would not take the ring. she also told me that the bar had to be fixed as it was a huge safety concern. I asked her how they even knew the bar was broken and she said it had been reported on Friday AM when the other people checked out! it was such a huge safety issue that the handy man had to go in my room without my permission and fix it! yet, they checked me into the room? never stay here!!

Nice Clean Rooms At Good RatesPosted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: Nice clean room and good rates, frindly staff!
Cons: This Hotel needs a water filtration system, tap water for coffee or drinking was not tasty!! No food or drunks allowed in pool area.
Location: Close to everything shopping, dinning and entertainment.
Our Stay was a pleasant one and our kids enjoyed the nice pool but It could have been alot better if no drinking of alcoholic beverages were allowed in this family setting. There were some people there drinking and getting out of control in the pool area so we had to leave early.

Good valuePosted Aug 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stopped here on our way through Phoenix on the way to Houston. It was a very nice, very clean hotel for the value. The room was a good size and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again on our way through Phoenix.

Nice Hotel and close to a very good restaurant.Posted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: It is dog friendly and you are not charged extra.
Cons: Fix broken fan in bathroom. Ask people to pick up after their dogs as well as clean up the exterior grounds near parking area.
Location: The Cracker Barrel has a great gift shop inside with a good variety of things to offer a traveler. Close to gun show, 30 minutes away.
For my husband and I it was a short getaway and we brought our two smaller dogs. Because of the heat we had to leave the dogs in the room while we went to ate. The staff called to inform us that they were barking and someone had called about them. However, they were patient when we told them we were at a nearby restaurant eating. Next time we went to go eat I asked if it would be okay if we left them again while we ate and they gave us the permission to do that. I was very grateful. I think next time it would be better to leave them home, so we don't have to limit ourselves as to where we can go. We liked the room, and the space in the room, the king bed was comfortable. I asked for an acceptability room because I have a small problem with balance. They have a tub with bars around to hold onto. I am not 100% sure but I believe I could have have asked the staff for a handicap chair to put inside the tub to sit on in.the shower as I noticed a staff member carrying one as I got off the elevator. I had thought the room had refrigerators but our room did not. Over all we had a great time and would recommend this hotel it is not expensive and offers a lot for the price.

Close to homePosted Aug 1, 2013
Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Breakfast could be improved.
We were having some remodeling done and had to stay out of the house for 3-4 days. We have a dog and did not want to kennel him. La Quinta is pet friendly with no charge, which was great! The hotel, grounds, and staff were all great. We were close to home so we could check on it's progress.
