Such a beautiful place... we had a great 3nights here. Huge beautiful room, massive bath, hammock, terrace onto the beach.. paradise. Nice pool out front too. Not a lot more we could have asked for. Wonderful.

"Well located boutique hotel. Outstanding breakfast"
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and had a great time. The owner and staff are terrific, they get to know everyone personally. Fantastic breakfast in the mornings - a real highlight and included in out stay. A cute, boutique setting in a location right between the beach and Fifth Avenue. Great restaurant next door as well. Highly recommended...it really was a great location - easy to walk to beach (5-10 min?) and fifth avenue 2 minutes away. Quiet

If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this is the place for you! Let me name a few......Warm turquoise blue oceans to die for, spacious rooms with comfortable beds, excellent food utilizing regional ingredients, and service always with a smile! It is also a must to treat yourself to an organic, authentic Mayan Spa experience! Although the spa services might be considered expensive, it is well worth it! The hotel grounds are magnificent and each room is surrounded by it's natural rainforest habitat.
Hope we get to go back soon!

"Lots of character, wonderful beach, great location"
This place was great! The grounds were beautifully kept. The whole place had a lot of character; the palapas you stay in are quaint (not fancy or ornate, but simply decorated and constructed). The food was delicious, and I loved having two meals a day provided. It made me feel like I wasn't constantly taking out my wallet to pay for the essentials, but still nudged you away from the restaurant for your third meal. The food service staff was so warm that we really missed them after we left. The beach was exactly what I was hoping for; the water is numerous shades of inviting blue and there was nothing in the sea to make you think twice about jumping in (I never stepped on anything icky or sharp, and never saw a jellyfish or anything else scary).

We had a nice time staying at this hotel for our 1-week vacation in PDC. Check in was very easy and the staff was very nice the entire time. Housekeeping did a great job every day (be sure to tip!). While the hotel is not on the beach, the center courtyards are small but very, very nice! It was like being in a little paradise. The breakfast was lovely each day as well. We had free breakfast with our room but then we often ordered a little something extra with it. Everyone was very nice at the restaurant and the food was great.
At one point they were cutting coconuts off the trees in the courtyard, and our server had two of them cut open and brought them over for us to drink the fresh coconut water! It was a nice touch. :-)
The price was very reasonable and the location is quite close to La Quinta Avenita (the main tourist street in PDC). We were able to walk there with our big roller suitcase from the main ADO station in about 15 minutes.
I would recommend upgrading to at least the junior suite. We had the deluxe king, and while the room was fine, it was definitely not the best room in the hotel--it was in the back corner of the complex, so two sides of our room faced the street, which led to a bit of noise on the weekend nights (note that none of the rooms face the main tourist street however so it wasn't nearly as loud as it could have been!) Also the beds are quite firm. I thought it was okay but my boyfriend was somewhat uncomfortable on the firm bed.
