"The host, Giovanni, was superb in communication and offering to make dinner reservations or take us on a boat ride. We wished we had more time to enjoy the area. But we only had the one day and the apartment was perfect for us. It may be a challenge if you don't have a car to get here. It was perfectly close for our visit to La Villa Balbianello. We had a hard time connecting to the wifi which is the only reason for not giving it 5 Stars."

"The house was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the big outdoor table and pool that overlook the lake for hours every day. The kitchen was big and had plenty of plates etc for our party of 9. There is one bedroom that you can only get to through two other bedrooms, but because we were all family it wasn’t a big problem for us. "What a view! My favorite part of the house were the beautiful upstairs bedrooms looking out over the Alpine homes, trees, and flowers. The bedrooms are comfortable and full of Italian history and antiquities. Be aware that taxis are hard to come by, and it is quite a trek to the house. My husband is 75 and I am 63, and we both made it, but you do need to be in good shape. Ask for very specific directions because the GPS got us very close, but then it required a neighbor to help us find our way....

We noticed the hotel bar was always full of people singing and having a good time, although patrons here are mostly over 60 years old, they all seem to have a great attitude!
