But we only had the one day and the apartment was perfect for us. It may be a challenge if you don't have a car to get here. It was perfectly close for our visit to La Villa Balbianello. We had a hard time connecting to the wifi which is the only reason for not giving it 5 Stars."

"We were 5 adults and stayed for a week. We also had other family members in the unit next to us. Our unit has a huge wrap around balcony with fantastic views. The onsite host was Matteo, not Julie who is listed as the owner. Matteo was very friendly and easy to reach on his phone. He greeted us in person and explained the basics of the apartment. "We have just returned from a wonderful week here. The swimming pool was superb, always clean and plenty of seating. The views of the surrounding mountains and the lake are amazing. Good car parking, an easy walk down to lake, boats, restaurants etc. Fairly steep walk back but managed easily by younger generation and more slowly by retirees! Matteo is an excellent host, providing information and always available to help. We hope to return before too long."

"Location was fantastic. View was amazing. Beds were very comfortable. Host was very responsive. Even though pool was not heated it was very refreshing in the unseasonable heat at time of our visit. Jacuzzi in the evening was a nice end to a full day of exploring. Helpful to have washer/dryer (although dryer was very challenging - by American standards). Only comment I would add to make the stay a little more perfect would be to have a few more amenities available, especially in the kitchen....

"Overall our stay was great, the apartment was very nice with a lovely balcony and view of the lake, and we enjoyed cooling off in the pool. The location was convenient, using the path down to the ferry stop - we got our exercise on the return climb! Note like many places in Europe there is no AC, so we had fans running nonstop. Also there are no window screens, and unfortunately there were mosquitoes. We had to buy more toilet paper and dish soap during our stay. Matteo was easy to communicate...
